For the price difference

Well I have a Donner ukie bass. Played fine, I enjoyed it. Adds that whole lower end thing to ukie playing. We were informally jamming with ukes and a guitar and the Donner ukie bass. Granddaughter was in the room. She picked up the Donner Bass. I was afraid she would pry out the button battery holder and eat it (everything went in her mouth then) so I removed the battery holder. She was still a-pullin' on the bass strings and it would boom boom boom acoustically. But one time she went boom boom crash and the Bass uke went from a high chair to the floor. Broke 2 tuners and cracked the body slightly. In the cleanup commotion I misplaced the battery holder and the batteries. they probably went in the trash, not sure where. The tuners I could replace, but I learned not with the wide spacing for heavy rubber ukie bass strings without high cost. Am now cramming in the strings on another partial set of replacement tuners (2nd & 3rd strings) with less wide slots. I should have saved the old broken tuners and done some parts swapping, but I did not. Stupid I know. But the battery holder, well you can not buy that part anywhere. I tried and tried. But Donner stepped up for me. After some email correspondence, I bought the replacement part. Took a while and more emails but Donner sent me two and they work great. I am RE-amplified !! Still have a couple cosmetic repairs to do before it is all fully restored, but the electronics work fine. Music is in our family thru many members and now into 4th generation. so I want to expose my grand daughter to hands on playing and singing of all sorts of music. We started with ukuleles. Two of the nicer ones are Donner concert. Gave a couple dozen ukes as Christmas presents last year.. So I am trying to spread the sound. And now, thanks to Donner, I will have my ukie bass back again. Will jam again next time they are in town. Thank you Donner !!! RSH

The Eastar music folder is great. A lot of space for sheet music and useful items like 2 flexible pockets, hand strap and a pen holder. It comes with two different types of plastic sleeves. Personally I prefer the sleeves that can hold the edges of the pages so you can make notes on the sheet music. And that is one little thing I would recommend to the manufacturer to add more of these special plastic sleeves. The folder comes with 10 of it but if you play in a band or orchestra you need more sleeves to hold a complete concert programme where you might have a lot of notes on your sheet music. Alternatevly it should be possible to order additional plastic sleeves of this kind. A second suggestion for the manufacturer is to add something to secure the folder in the closed position and to avoid papers falling out. Then it would be perfect!

It's a pretty cool unit. At first I hooked it up to my elec guitar and had some interesting loops going. But I wanted to make it even more creative, so I hooked it up to the headphone out of my mixer. ***other outputs are too high and just cause distortion, so this is very important*** With it hooked up this way, anything I'm playing even effects in the sound(echo, phaser, etc.) gets put into it, at whatever channel level I want(and probably pan/balance in stereo). Essentially on the fly you can create a complicated track and keep layering it on top of each other. You can't record in reverse, but you can play live over it, and if you also hooked up an audio-interface to the Output of the Looper, you can send it live, directly into your computer recording program like Audacity(great free program). **Make sure the polarity&voltage of the power adapter is correct, you don't want to wreck it**. Really minor points to note: The Looper is fairy easy and intuitive to use, but the only tricky part is getting used to doing the undo and redo of a layer, the manual is a little lacking in explaining that, but there's videos on Youtube that explain it in Layman's terms. The labeling of the jacks could maybe say Left/Mono and right instead of Mono and Stereo because before I read the instruction I thought Stereo was where you put a TRS(Stereo) jack, but it's just the TS Right channel, you can use either one as a Mono on the ins and outs.

Great service from Donnerdeal which delivered in good time. The trumpet is yet to be used (it's a gift) but looks and feels great, aprticularly for the price - value for money for a student's instrument. Thank you donnerdeal!

After a bit of faffing about getting the dmx addresses set up these dongles worked brilliantly. Once it's all set just charge then up and plug into each light with the transmitter plugged into dmx controller. You will get full control of your lights and will be able to provide a much better light show. The last wedding I did had the colour scheme from the Film Frozen, so whilst the Bride and Groom were doing there first dance I changed all light colours to blue. It was amazing. I would recommend these to any mobile dj that wants to save time setting up dmx cables. Plug and play love it! Maybe donner should look into wireless speaker dongles, I think they would be very popular. Thanks Donner
