I’m a big fan of Donner products because they consistently manage to give you good musical equipment without requiring you to sell a kidney, and the STARRYPAD MINI is another example of that.This little thing is TINY! It has 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch, Note Repeat, customizable pad settings, USB-C and Bluetooth MIDI, and even a rechargeable battery with up to about 10 hours of use. It works with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, so you can make beats without having a giant piece of equipment taking over your desk. 😂The 40 Melodics lessons are a really nice bonus for beginners, and the included music-production software adds even more value. Just know that this is a MIDI controller, not a standalone drum machine, so you’ll need a DAW or compatible music app to actually produce the sounds.My only hesitation is that the software/setup side can take a little patience if you’re completely new to MIDI. Once you get everything connected and configured, though, this is a ridiculously fun little beat-making companion.Donner basically took a music studio, put it through the dryer on high, and somehow it came out this tiny. 😂🎶Great quality, extremely portable, lots of features, and a very affordable way to get into beat making.Excellent gift idea
As a decades-long Ibanez player, I was a bit nervous pulling the trigger on this Donner - but loved the finish and the specs so I pulled it. This guitar is an absolute dream to play! The bridge pickup has the right amount of grit & dirt for rock & metal and the single coils are gorgeous in ambience and acoustics. The coil split feature is wonderful. The roasted maple neck plays like butter and the locking tuners make string-changing quick & simple. I will buy the DST-550 in another finish variant. I absolutely LOVE this guitar and is by the far the best value for the buck. The nay-sayers obviously had QC issues that soured their taste, but I had none and am 100% satisfied with this instrument. Plus, the finish is a real head-turner. :)

Brilliant that they made this device look like a seamless addition to Shure SM58 mic. All of the other options out there look clunky. Also, the signal hopping technology eliminates the need to consider 5.8ghz options which tend to be more expensive and have shorter battery lives.

Thank you for the quick shipment! I love the piano, but the instructions on how to select various features was not written in a way that was usable. I got the DDP200 MK2 and eventually found that the volume button is the selector for everything by watching videos online. If you'd rewrite your manual I'm sure future buyers would appreciate it. So far, great instrument and price. Thank you!
I’ve been piddling with guitar for a few years now and consider myself and advanced novice. This is a nicely spec’d Instrument, and I was really surprised by the overall build quality. The body is solid mahogany, the fretboard is nice and smooth, the frets are decent and nicely rounded on the ends, and the matte finish is good. Weight is a bit more than I expected, but it’s not too heavy for travel. I didn’t expect actual body binding or mother-of-pearl fret dots. The tuners are sold and seem to keep the instrument in tune. The overall design is very well thought out down to a magnetic holder for the tool used with the tuners and for installing the screws for the extenders. The electronics are also nice with a built-in tuner, tone controls, and volume. Truss rod adjustment is easy with the included Allen wrench. It has built in strap buttons, one also serving as a jack for your instrument cable should you choose to plug into an external amp (it doesn’t require an amp if you prefer using headphones). I definitely didn’t expect real mother-of-pearl fretboard dot inlays or a bone saddle and nut. All-in-all, I am really impressed with the build quality and design, especially for the money.Donner includes everything you need to play out of the box, including an 9v battery and decent ear buds. All of this packs down into a nice semi-rigid nylon case and all of the accessories neatly fit in their own designated pockets. Even the bag carry strap can double as the instrument strap (I suggest a separate dedicated guitar strap though). I like to play mine through a Spark Go mini amp due to the size and the app’s acoustic tone settings. I find you can also add some other effects to get more of an electric guitar tone even without the coil pickups.THE SETUP: Here is the big caveat for this acoustic electric: plan to do a setup to make it comfortably playable. This setup is something you should be able to do yourself if you’re somewhat knowledgeable with guitars. First, the neck truss rod needed major adjustment out of the box. Based on what others have said online, this is not unusual. I had to significantly tighten the truss rod, probably around 3 or 4 full turns, to get it straight enough. Next, the factory strings aren’t the best. I found they really squeak when doing chord changes, so it’s worthwhile to swap them out with coated strings or flatwound strings. I kept acoustic strings on mine, but others have successfully used electric strings or nylons.The other most important part of the process is the saddle towards the bottom of the guitar. Out of the box, the action on these guitars is really high, and a main reason is that the saddle is really tall. To fix this, folks sand the bottom of the saddle down to get the string height down to a much more manageable height. I did this by hand sanding it on 220 grit sandpaper on top of a flat solid surface. I took of around 1/3 of the original height, but did it a little at a time to make sure I didn’t take off too much. The goal is to keep the bottom of the saddle as flat and square as possible. It’s easy to remove the saddle by hand once the strings are removed or sufficiently loose. Within less than an hour, I had my guitar action nice and low, similar to the action on my other guitars.Overall, if you’re looking for a small and convenient travel guitar, this one is a great cost-effective option.
This drum set is awesome. You can Bluetooth to the module using Spotify, or other music streaming services you have and you can practice the drums to songs through the headset!!! I have experienced zero lag while doing so. This is a great learning tool, and also perfect for beginners up to Advanced players. You can upgrade with more cymbals or drums if you want by adding to the drum module stand. If you need this for a church that does not have acoustic drum set and you need to plug into the speakers. This is a very viable option. It has MIDI ports as well out USB-C port, and an AUX out. Very awesome and well worth it. I have been playing drum since the fifth grade and needed a drum set for my apartment. Also, yes, this is adult sized. Love it!
Great Guitar. The body shape is comfortable. The roasted maple neck feels good. (A bit thick). The asymmetrical shape is definitely a winner. My only issue with the Guitar is the neck is a bit thicker than I would prefer. But after playing it a while it is something you get used to. The Gig bag included is shockingly good and I really appreciate that.
Bought this item for travel to a casual show at a family reunion. I play in an original band with my two sons (the HOT COLES). This guitar is so cool for what it is... A lot of bang for the buck. Basically a computer with neck and strings. No need to bring a pedal board. I have 3 main sounds that I use- clean, slight break up and lead distortion. There are 6 banks with 3 slots each. For bank A I had clean, clean with reverb, and clean slap back. Bank B I programed slight OD, OD w/reverb and OD with Delay. Bank C was 3 different lead tones. All of this was easy to switch between with the turn of a knob. I plugged directly into a katana amp and had all the tones I needed. You can also turn off the electronics (or if the battery dies) the guitar functions just like a regular guitar with pickup switching. The pickups sound good. The bridge humbucker is louder than the neck single coil. Neck plays great and stainless frets are a bonus. Guitar stays in tune and string changes are easy. The screen is tiny and a bit challenging to navigate parameters. I have not yet tried plugging directly into a PA. For the price it is amazing. I would pay twice as much for this guitar if it had a few less features but better quality tones and amp sims. I found many of the sounds to be useless, shrill and a bit cheesy sounding. Some parameters and settings don't seem to do anything no matter what you do. Will this guitar replace my normal setup.... NO, but it is great for traveling, practice and even casual gigs. Again, for the price, you can't go wrong.
Its is pretty pretty Good!!! ive been using it for a month and a few days and i love this kit its not so big but its enough in my case that i have a small bedroom where i play it and recomend it but the only thing is that the bassdrum trigger its not so good at all and ive been adjusting it for days to get the best response and sometimes it Just doesnt And the presets and all sounds doesnt sound like pro one at all but at least it does well in general.
Donner DED-300 PRO Electronic Drum Set with Independent Hi-Hat
The guitar is portable in the sense that you can remove the frames (no tools required), but you obviously can't disconnect the neck, as it still has actual strings. The frames make it feel like a bigger guitar, and look a bit more 'normal'. The neck is slim and has a headless design. It comes with a compact material case and strap, which also has a big pocket on the front that has plenty of space to store things. It's really lightweight, so it's definitely ideal for travelling. There is a built-in tuner on top, and it has an LED display (it requires a 9V battery, which is included). There's also a hidden magnetic T-wrench on the back to manually tune as well. You can plug headphones in if you don't want to annoy people, or you can connect it to an amp if you want to play out loud. It comes with all the accessories you need, from the 9V battery, to headphones, an audio cable, etc. It's a shame I received the wrong colour, but overall it's a nice guitar if you're after something portable.
This arrived very well packaged in a gig bag with compartments for all of the extras and a Velcro neck strap to hold the guitar firmly. This is the newest in Donner's line of headless travel guitars. There is a piezo pickup under the bridge. And the electronics include a tuner this time and it works well. The electronics work off of a nine volt battery and they function exactly as they should. There is an auxillary output and a headphone output. So, you can silently practice with the pickup activated. As usual for Donner, the extras are all very good. The cable is not the typical low end cable you find in guitar packages. The strap is a good quality strap and it doubles as the strap to carry the gig bag, which is something I have only found on Donners. The "body" of the guitar consists of two metal inserts, which now insert into the body and are held by pins that you screw in with your fingers, then tighten with the included magnetic allen wrench that sits in a hole in the back of the body. This is a good design, although I had a difficult time dislodging the wrench and ended up using a needle nose pliers to remove it from its perch. This is a bit of a problem because it is also the fine tuner to tune the guitar. I ended up jamming a soft plastic switch tip into the hole to keep the wrench from sitting down in its recessed hole. That way it was held firmly, but able to removed more easily. The gig bag is the typical well thought out Donner headless guitar bag. It has pockets and holders for all of the extras. The guitar itself is a good one. It's very light, which is great for me. And the neck is wonderful, which is typical for Donner travel guiars. The scale length is the Gibson 24.75 inches, which is great. The fret work is very good. The nut is cut well and just a hair over 43 mm. There was more than a little relief, so I tightened up the truss rod, which worked well. The action was a bit high for me, but acceptable at 2.5mm low E and 2.25mm high E at the twelfth fret. I'll likely file down the bridge just a bit in the future to lower the action. The pickup sounds really good when amplified, both clean and with some dirt. The guitar comes with ear buds. Solid plus. The lower strap button doubles as the output jack. It was difficult getting the strap onto it, but it is doable. What I continue not to love is the lower metal "body" piece. I don't like the shape of it. I like the Strandberg/classical position for headless guitar play, and extending and bending the metal piece to fit against the right leg would do wonders for this guitar. But, alas, Donner seems married to the shape that doesn't allow that. I think there might actually be a nice aftermarket for a differently shaped lower body metal piece that allowed the classical position to be an option. But overall, this is a really nice playing and well planed out headless travel guitar system.

I needed a guitar I could practice freely in my apartment and this is really great. I could have used an electric unplugged, but I like acoustic better, and this feels much more like an acoustic, so that's great for me. And the quality is surprisingly good for this price.

Cymbal works great. would love to see you make available a extra mounted tom. My controller has an available plug and a extra wire for it however you don't offer it.
This drum set was a birthday gift to my 9 year old grandson, who lost his marbles when the drum set arrived. The boy and his dad spent the next couple of hours becoming familiar with the set and all it's capabilities. Everything appears to function as expected. Needless to say, he is a very happy kid right now.

Including the drum stool surface and hardware right in the box saves you from needing to purchase essential seating separately.Compact, Organized Internal Packaging: Inside the main box, individual components (pads, cymbals, module, stool, and accessories) are neatly sub-boxed and compartmentalized. This prevents pieces from sliding around or knocking into one another during transit.Severe Outer Box Damage / Shipping Concerns: The primary drawback was the condition of the shipping box upon arrival. The outer cardboard suffered multiple tears, punctures, and crushed corners. Fortunately, the double-boxing and internal foam layers protected the actual drum components from damage, but stronger outer cardboard or extra exterior reinforcement is definitely needed.Bottom Line: The kit itself delivers great functionality and a complete hardware setup for electronic drumming. The only reason for four stars was a shipping issue. But it was handled very professionally and Donner support was awesome throughout the whole process. Now for product review, I can’t say enough about this little power supply. I bought one two Maby three years ago for my pedal board. I have used it almost every day since purchase for practice and gigs. It has never failed me and quite as can be. I was a little apprehensive about it being not a big box brand and the price being so reasonable. I’m telling you guys this unit holds up. I just bought another one to put in my gear bag for a spare (just in case). The big boys are wanting up to $200 for there’s and if you can get one of these for $50 and get the same results why not. I’m very pleased with mine and I highly recommend this unit. I’ve been playing for 45 plus years. I know I’m an old codger that doesn’t know what I’m talking about but I’m telling you it definitely works for me. Turn em up let’s play!!!!
Very nice, and for the price, and perhaps you could say worth the price for 303 fans, the buttons are a bit problematic if you want to play with them, the feel and sensitivity don't always respond well, but programming a sequence to play along with a drum machine is good and also fun, having at least a few effects that give uniqueness to the user, overall fun. And you have to buy a European power adapter separately.
The keys aren’t normal. The quality is very poor and the keys stick and take a lot of force to push down with fingers. They are also slightly textured which is odd.

I purchased this for a long road trip last summer. I picked up the Donner cyclops amp also. This guitar is so fun to play. It shreds, right out of the box. I’ve taken it on multiple trips. I also play it regularly at home.I’m looking at the HLX-500, which is not a travel guitar but is also headless and looks to have a similar bridge. Only hold up is that I just bought another new guitar. My wife doesn’t like it when my GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) flares up.
Perfect for beginners! It’s economical, easy to build, and perfect for kids. The sturdiness is good, and I love that it comes with headphones, sticks, & stool. It fits nicely in a corner & my son loves it.
I'm in an apartment and I bought this to get back into playing. I can pratice with headphones and not bother the neighbors! I replaced the thin leg rest with a sturdy one and couldn't be happier!
Ok friends, as you can see here.. I am a huge pedal nerd. I have a gigantic collection.. from a pro-grade board full of the best Boss has to offer, to a skateboard full of Abominable’s nastiest pedals, to a science project of Earthquaker’s glitch effects pedals looping through a Sonicake portal.. I love my pedals.All of that said, I’m probably a decent source to review these. My highly unscientific test involved plugging the twin blade pedals into isolated power, routed into the FX return of a Boss Katana 100 gen III. Clean solid state power. Quiet. I plugged my Fender Splattercaster with Seymour Duncan SSL1 neck, SSL6 middle, SSL5 bridge with the blend knob mod running all three pickups. The results speak for themselves…These two pedals will not replace anything on my rack, but I would absolutely toss them in with my Donner travel guitar. With three voices (two, really.. booster should always be on) on the pink pedal and three mandatory effects on the blue, you have it all covered. AND, it’s all covered in a very portable form factor and requires only 2x9v Center negative DC plugs.They’re very easy to use & they do what they say they’ll do. These guys are obviously heavy digital, so you analog fans will need to keep your analog pedals still. (As will I)… but these two pedals definitely cover your bases!Functionality is simple.. stomp on Overdrive and it sounds a bit like a diluted tube screamer. Step on fuzz and you get a fuzz slightly less polite than Boss FZ-1 fuzz, but way less nasty than any of my other fuzzes.. BUT WAIT. THERES WAY LESS NOISE?!There is a built in NOISE GATE at the end of the fuzz and it seems to work! So it’s like getting a fourth pedal!!You won’t need to step on Booster, because it’s always on, right?! Smells like EP booster, bargain version. Sounds nice! Really!Then the big three essential effects:Chorus: good enough. Not crazy, but that’s a good thing. It shouldn’t make you seasick.Delay (digital): every bit as good as other delay pedals with similar knobs. Does not run with the boss. Sorry.S-Verb reverb: slightly stylized reverb. I guess I like it, but I don’t love it.BL: it’s a pretty awesome set I happily added to my collection. Great for travel, but def not for gigs unless you play basically one sound or you want to turn knobs between sets.
This is a pretty versatile 3-in-1 setup with chorus, delay, and reverb. Nothing complicated here, just the core effects in one unit.The chorus is easily the standout. It has a nice lush feel that works well for cleaner playing and ambient tones. Delay does what you expect, nothing fancy, just a standard repeat. Reverb blends in nicely for adding space without getting messy.Build quality is solid. Full metal casing, lightweight, and easy to fit into a setup. The knobs feel responsive and it’s straightforward to dial in.It is a bit on the basic side. A lot of amps and multi-effects units already include these effects, so it’s not offering anything new. That said, the tones themselves sound good and are easy to work with.Price feels a little high for what it is, but if you want a simple, compact pedal with usable sounds and a really nice chorus, it still delivers, definitely worth it for the price.
I record a bunch of personal content for my YouTube, Twitch, and Instagram, mostly for family and friends to keep up with my activities. While I typically use an audio device for these activities, it generally has limitations with multiple devices and microphones. In addition, it can be tedious to tweak and adjust audio settings in software. Meanwhile, the ease of use of dials and switches makes an audio mixer super convenient. I can connect via XLR or 1/4-inch plugs, and even via Bluetooth, and then send all the mixed sound directly to my PC/Laptop via USB or USB-C for further organization. The fact that this audio mixer offers so many connectivity options is a big win. I also enjoy the versatility of adding effects like reverb, echo, and delay directly from the mixer, eliminating the need to run the acoustic guitar through a guitar amp. The functionality of this mixer is very easy to learn, since this is my first time using a hardware audio mixer. I was up and running very quickly and was able to use two mics when recording acoustic guitar, and I used the faders to pan left-right for a stereo output. The price is a little high for this unit, but not extreme, and I've come to trust Donner for well-built equipment for my needs.

Great horn for the price! I’ve purchased a few months ago the nickel plated, due to preference, and it has worked splendidly. You have to tune it to preference which takes time and the third slide spit valve could be loosened but overall great quality horn for the price! The cleaning kit works well. Highly recommend!
