Donner HUSH X LIVE Travel Guitar with Speaker

This is the most comfortable and easiest to use guitar in the Hush line. One reason is that the speaker enclosure required a wider, thicker bottom bar, which sits on your leg a lot better than the other ones. Donner includes a stand-alone tuner, strap, cleaning cloth and adjustment tools, which is really nice. As for playability, after I lowered the strings (high strings always come on a new guitar) the Hush plays beautifully. The pickups were a big surprise ---lots of gain and very clean. The case is very high quality and compact enough that I won't have to worry about carry-on problems any more.Everyone should adopt the truss rod adjustment method used by Donner, which is a little cylinder with holes that turns easily with the provided tool. No removing a cover, no fiddling with an Allen wrench at an awkward angle, either. The other thing I REALLY like about this guitar is the separate knobs for effects instead of a touch screen. Much quicker and more intuitive. All in all, this is a quality product, not a toy.

I have been really happy with the Donner HUSH X LIVE. In my opinion, everything about this guitar is great. It's compact, sounds good, and plays well. The main reason I got it was so I wouldn't need to be plugged into power all the time or have a bulky amp taking up space, and it does that perfectly. I only play at home, and it's been exactly what I wanted for that. There are quite a few pieces to put together, and since this is my first electric guitar, the setup was a little confusing at first. That said, it wasn't bad at all once I figured it out, and it didn't take long. However, my one complaint is the handle, and it's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. One side of it comes loose when I carry the guitar by it and partially detaches from the body (see photo). It's not a dealbreaker and doesn't affect how the guitar plays, but it's something to be aware of, especially if you plan on moving it around a lot.Aside from that, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, quiet guitar to play at home without a big amp setup.

I have to agree with previous reviews, this baby is impressive! It’s lightweight, travel friendly and we really love that we can detach the speaker when needed. The entire guitar easily and quickly breaks down by taking each size off the handle and it becomes nice and compact for traveling, all without compromising sound qualityIt’s truly top notch and we couldn’t be happier!

The speaker was a lot louder than I expected, and the small form factor really sold me! I’ve been looking for a travel guitar, and this one checks off all my boxes

The DONNER HUSH X LIVE is a really impressive travel guitar that packs a lot of functionality into a compact design. The neck feels smooth and comfortable to play, making it easy to move between chords and notes without the instrument feeling awkward or cumbersome. Tuning has been stable so far, which is especially important with a headless guitar, and the overall build quality feels solid and durable enough to handle being transported regularly. The detachable speaker and built-in amp modeling and effects are great for practicing without needing to carry a separate amplifier, while Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to play along with backing tracks. The headless design keeps the guitar compact, and the included gig bag makes it even more convenient for travel. Overall, this is a well-built, smooth-playing, and versatile guitar that offers excellent portability without sacrificing useful features.

Plays like a dream well made love it

I bought those for my son. He loves it and it sounds pretty good for a small built-in speaker. The battery life is very good as well.

Nice instrument

Great Electric travel guitar. My wife bought me this for Father's Day and I a love it. I'm a beginner player so it fits me well.

Just love it.

I ordered this electric guitar as a Father's Day gift for my husband, who has been playing guitar and singing for years, so he's not easily impressed by gimmicky instruments. Thankfully, this one turned out to be a huge hit.The first thing that stands out is the sleek, modern design. It looks incredibly clean and well built, and it has more weight to it than I expected, which gives it a quality feel instead of feeling like a toy. The removable frame pieces attach and detach easily, making it compact enough for travel while still feeling comfortable to play. This kit comes with everything needed to get started, including a carrying case, tuner, charging cable, adjustment tools, and accessories. The built-in speaker system is one of the coolest features because you can play without dragging out a separate amp. The speaker charges easily with a USB-C cable, and setup is straightforward. My husband tuned it up, played around with it, and immediately commented on how clean it sounded. The tuning was stable, the controls felt solid, and he was genuinely impressed with the overall quality. He especially loves that it's portable enough to take on trips while still feeling like a real instrument rather than a compromise. For anyone looking for a travel-friendly electric guitar, a practice guitar, or a gift for a musician, this is an excellent option. It's thoughtfully designed, well equipped, easy to transport, and most importantly, it passed inspection from a guitarist who actually knows what he's talking about. That's a much tougher test than any product description can provide.
