Product was fairly easy to install once I stopped being intimidated by all the pieces. All said and done, it was maybe 30 minutes of work and a happy 5 year old began to beat away to the sweet, sweet music of 1983 hair bands.

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson it is perfect.

Packed well, Assembly was straight forward and simple. Bass Drum needed legs attached which were 2 thumb screws, and front and back drum heads attached using provided key and tension rods. Had a bit of issue with one of the tension bars, but thankfully there were spares included so I didn't need to stress about it. Floor tomtom needed drum heads and legs attached, same as bass drum. Snare, medium, and small tomtom were assembled and ready for tightening and mounting. I got the set put together while watching some football.

The size and quality was perfect for my 6 year old son. Great buy!

My son absolutely loves this drum set. The directions were a bit challenging to read for assembly, but we figured it out in less than an hour. The product was packaged very well and some toms were even pre-assembled.

Oh my. Our boy loves his drums. Just like daddy. High hat comes apart pretty easily and the bass drum petal is tougher for him to hit however he just turned 2. So when on his little stool he can’t really reach now, as he grows I’m sure it’ll fit and be easier.

Came quickly. Going to be a Christmas present for my 9 year old average sized daughter.

This Jr. Drum set is good for kids who are just beginning to play the drums. I would improve and work on the kick and high hat peddles and make them a little bit smoother to kick, for kids do not have strong kicks (2-7) yet. Over all, it is a great set for kids to use and practice. Solid and looks it will last for a while.

We ordered this set for our sons 9th birthday present as he has shown a real huge interest in drumming and snuck things into his room to drum. We sent him with his aunt for the night so we could set them up and surprise him when he came home after his big birthday fun day and we expected assembly to be difficult but it was fairly easy though the instructions were a little confusing. They came in great condition as well and looked very nice. Our son is autistic and since receiving his drums we have seen such a change in him. He happily drums every day after school and just loves them. We are so happy with our purchase.

7 piece drum set. The kids are pretty impressed! About 12 years ago we bought a little cheap drum set. It cost maybe 30 dollars and lasted a month. This is a full sized, considerably better drum set! As a young couple there is no way we could have afforded this back then, so it is on the higher end for a young family on a budget. (Note: Eastar does make a simpler set for half the price) But, now as a homeschool family, the price is what I would expect for my kids to be learning on for music class. You definitely get a very good value for your money! It took about 2 hours to assemble with the help of two of my kids. One thing I would say is to make sure you run your finger around the bass drum rim and tom tom before placing down and tightening the drum heads. When I did the first tom tom drum head I didn't check and a little wood fleck or grain pressed into the head. It'd be awfully easy to puncture the head as you're focused on tightening evenly. Also make sure you tighten according to the pattern on the back of the instructions for a good even tension (my teenager pointed that out to me). The Hi-hat cymbals are tricky to understand. Sandwich the top cymbal between the felt and screws, similar to the crashing symbol. Then, rest the lower cymbal on the larger felt with the plastic screw to keep it from jumping up. Then, adjust the pedal height to what you prefer. In the photo and video is my 6 yr old for drum size reference. It seems to be a good buy for a 6 yr old - young teen. I think even I could sit in a adjustable desk chair at this set and learn some drumming patterns. I'm very pleased with our purchase! It is a solid entry level junior set!
