Great Piano, Easy to Assemble!
I’m really happy with this piano! At first, I was a bit surprised that the assembly instructions weren’t included, but luckily, it was super easy to put together. Even though I don’t have much experience assembling furniture, I was able to do it by myself without any issues. Just keep in mind that it’s quite heavy, so moving it around might require some help.
My child absolutely loves it, and the headphone option is a game-changer—they can practice anytime without worrying about making too much noise. Overall, this is a fantastic piano, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

This digital piano was fairly easy to assemble and didn’t take long to set up. As a basic piano for beginners, it checks many boxes—a clean design, a full 88-key weighted keyboard, and all three pedals (which is a step up from many beginner models that only include one).
Some Key Features That Stand Out:
Versatile connectivity – Includes a headphone jack, audio in/out, MIDI support, and even a USB input for MP3 playback, making it easy to play along with your favorite songs.
Adjustable rhythm and chord volume – A nice touch for those experimenting with accompaniments.
Transpose function – Great for adapting pieces to different keys.
Drum mode – Certain keys trigger percussion sounds.

Right out of the box, the keyboard took a mere 8 minutes to assemble. I used a power drill with a Philipps screw head to put the stand together, and the keyboard is attached with tooless screw knobs. It also comes with a music stand that is easily removable, but I keep it on to mount a tablet to read sheet music when needed. The keyboard itself is easy to operate and navigate. I went through the manual to make specific changes to the settings since the keyboard naturally sounds bright. The sensitivity and touch of the keys is great. Not too plasticky and it's nice to flow upa nd down the keyboard. Grace notes are easy to hit on this keyboard. A huge plus is that I can turn this into a workstation keyboard for music production for both my Windows 11 HP Envy 16 and also the M4 MacBook Pro. This is hands down in the top percentile of introductory keyboards I've played with. For under 400, it is worth considering, given the build quality, decent sound engine, touch and feel of the keys, accessories, and the included stand.

1. Packaging
✔ The packaging was well-designed, ensuring that the piano arrived safely. Given its weight, it's best for two adults to carry it.
✔ All components were securely packed, though I did notice a few minor scratches on some parts.
2. Assembly
✔ Assembly was straightforward, and the user manual provided clear, step-by-step instructions.
✔ The three different types of screws were well-labeled, making the process even easier.
✔ The stand parts had a bit of dust, so I’d recommend giving them a quick wipe before assembly.
3. Piano Performance
✔ The piano offers a variety of sound modes, making it fun to experiment with different tones.
✔ The screen displays the notes being played, which is a fantastic feature for learners.
✔ The key action feels very similar to an acoustic piano, providing an enjoyable playing experience.
✔ The volume control is precise, allowing for smooth adjustments.
✔ The built-in sound effects add creativity, making it great for those who love customizing their sound.
✔ While the piano tone is slightly softer than a traditional acoustic piano, it still delivers a satisfying playing experience.
✔ The sustain pedal could be more responsive, as the sound change was not as pronounced as expected.
✔ Some sound modes are quieter than others, which may require volume adjustments.

I was absolutely thrilled to get the chance to review this digital piano with weighted keys! As soon as it arrived, I had it set up in no time. The moment I turned it on and played "Baby Face," an old Vaudeville tune, I was blown away—Wow! This feels amazing! The fully weighted keys make such a difference compared to the non-weighted ones on most digital pianos. The sound is rich and satisfying, and playing on it felt incredibly natural.
Exploring the features, I was excited to try out the built-in drum beats to accompany my playing. While the piano itself plays beautifully, I did find that some of the digital functions were not as intuitive to use as I had hoped. However, for those who primarily want a realistic piano-playing experience, this instrument truly delivers.
My grandkids, who have both acoustic and digital pianos at home, were also impressed by the feel and sound. They enjoyed playing it but noticed that the note display on the music staff was slightly off. That being said, the keyboard’s size and key feel are identical to a grand piano, making it a fantastic choice for students and experienced players alike.
Aesthetically, it’s a lovely addition to my music space, and the included keyboard cover happened to match my room perfectly! I also purchased a separate piano bench to complete the setup.
Overall, this piano excels in providing an authentic playing experience, making it a wonderful instrument for practice, performance, and even gigs. While some of the digital features could be improved in terms of usability, the core piano experience is outstanding. If you’re looking for a beautifully weighted digital piano that plays and sounds great, this is a fantastic choice!

If you're looking for a solid, budget-friendly weighted keyboard, this is an excellent choice! The keys have a satisfying feel when playing, making it a great option for those who want a more realistic piano experience. I’ve been searching for a keyboard that doesn’t feel overly plastic or lightweight, and this one truly fits the bill. The pedals also work smoothly, adding to the authentic feel.
The overall design is sleek and elegant, making it a beautiful addition to any space. Assembly took about 30 minutes—while some screws were in slightly tricky spots, it was manageable. Given the weight of the keyboard, I’d recommend assembling it with a second person for an easier setup.
Playing on this keyboard has reignited my passion for music, and I genuinely enjoy practicing on it. While there are some areas that could be improved—such as the accuracy of the tone labels—the core experience of playing is truly enjoyable. If you're after a stylish, well-built, and fully weighted keyboard, this is a solid pick!

I have a small music room at home, and the DDP-95 is the main device. Its various functions allow my family and I to switch to different performance modes at any time to meet the needs of different musical instrument lovers, and it has become the center of our family music life.

I recently recorded my first music album with the DDP-95. Its built-in recording function is very practical and can record up to 5000 notes, which helps me retain every improvisation and is very suitable for producing original music.
