Love this pedal. The swirling textures you can create with it are beautifully tippy. I haven't yet used it into 2 separate amps, but running it into each channel of my Roland jc120 is amazing sounding. Buy it, you will be glad you did.

I would like it a whole lot better if both channels would combine in mono mode. It seems like a no-brainer, but for whatever reason, the second delay is apparently only accessible if you run stereo.

Thisbwas exactly what I was looking for. Though I'm usually uncomfortable buying anything sight unseen there were enough demo vids to sell me on it. I knew it was exactly what I was looking for and very affordable. Donner does a great job for those with a budget.

Small foot print pedal sounds like an eco plex like the one evh used on the first 3 albums it sounds just like it only stereo sound quality is great lots of control over the effect

Killer stereo pedal for the price. Good repeat quality, up to 600 ms...can chain the inputs or run true stereo. Great budget stereo delay tone. Sounds good with the Vintaverb, also stereo in and out. Great series of pedals. Up to 17 Donner pedals now.

Twin dual delays? In STEREO?? The possibilities are endless with this effect… There are two delays, both with individual rates and controls for each.. They both run in Stereo, with stereo ins and outs.. and it has that old time, tale delay sound, It actually sounds like an old Space Echo unit, the type you hear In Reggae music, where the repeats degrade in that magical way. it’s a gorgeous effect, and I wholeheartedly suggest it. There were zero issues, the tone was clear and perfect, no artifacts or noise like you see in cheaper effects. The fact that this pedal doesn’t cost $150 or $200 is amazing, it’s worth every Penny and VERY affordable, once u see the price, you’ll be sold. I believe Donner could have charged twice what they’re asking, it’s a definite grand slam home run for Donner, a mainstay on my board, and it sounds great running in mono too..

I haven't gotten to use extensively yet I don't haven't finished setting up my studio so I have one tried it through one amplifier and haven't tried stereo mode but I like it so far

It produces quarter notes at 103 BPM on the slowest setting. Would be nice if it went slower. Seems to be well built.

Well, I ordered this item for the first time and it got lost in the mail. Donner was super responsive and sent me a new unit right away. As for the unit itself, it rocks! I can get some spooky sounds or straight up forever delays. I send one output to my Caline Snake Bite Reverb and the other to my Donner Wave Delay and lubba wubba dub dub! Lol. Get this pedal! NOW!

Just fantastic. Great price. Shipped right out and tone wise more that I expected. Turned around after I tried it and bought one for my daughter who is a guitar player also.

It has a very warm and natural sound. As close to a tape echo as I have heard. I like being able to set a different delay time and feedback for a cool stereo sound. I would recommend it highly.

I love it! And I came up with a fantastic use. I put my mono signal in, then set two separate delays, one one, one short; then output the two sides to an a/b switch. Now i can switch between delays going to the mix for different rhythm and lead sounds.

Very nice pedal

Absolutely perfect delay. Has a great analog feel. Having a short delay on the left speaker, and long delay on the right speaker, is a PERFECT foil for fattening up your sound. If you are in a 3 piece this is a MUST have. Talk about a full sound. The the repeats have that "grey" tone you get from authentic tape delay. I bought 2. Best new delay pedal out there!! I was disappointed at first because it’s not my Space Echo. After I found it’s proper location and purpose in my effects chain I’m very happy with it. I still like my RE 201 better but I have to say this is much quieter and a hell of a lot cheaper.

The pedal has a great tone, more usable than my mxr carbon copy. The customer service at Donner is absolutely the best. They are on my "gear purchasing" radar, for sure!

I absolutely adore this pedal. It’s a great introduction to the wonderfully vintage sound of tape delay. The Donner White Tapa and my SpringKing Reverb are the two pedals that are practically always on. I have my knobs at around 9 o’clock to add a lovely touch of tape delay to my tone. I have other pedals for delay effects, this one is for a Tone enhancer.

The media could not be loaded. Great value good pedal and you can run one delay into the other for more delay action.

I have to say, I was pretty shocked by how good this was. I plunked down on the Donner Island because of the variety and that hilarious digital crunchy crystal sound that it gets when you manipulate the time knob but was unexpectedly impressed by the Tape option and happened to see this new offering with dual tape simulation for stereo L and R and was intrigued. Man am I glad I was impulsive and clicked the button because this thing is a sardine can full of fun. The tape simulation is appropriately crispy, crunchy, chalky, choppy and squashy and the feedback feels nuanced and intergalactic. I run stereo into a mixer and out to cans for my, regrettably, apartment jam scene set up and by setting the time and feedback and level for each channel and then messing with my L and R pans on my mixer I was getting multiple delay deliciousness from this humble little box. Amusingly it put to shame a more distinguished brand pedal that I had spent three times the amount on. It's a very nice little slice of vibrant spaciousness that can give you alot of control over the environment of your sound. It has no business being this good. You won't get this control and versatility and planetary pleasantness at this price, I'd say snap one up if you want to toss your notes to the cosmos and have them comet back around to you. Really sweet if you're a tape head kinda delay musician. Open the pod bay doors of your mind. Thank you, Donner.

Works great in stereo! I love being able to control the feedback lengths and speeds separately. It can also be fun in mono to run the left output back into the right input and then you have 2 delays in series! Very happy with the tone of this pedal and will be experimenting with it for a long time!

I'm putting together a pedalboard that will use both dual delays preceded by a detune and followed by an echo delay for a HUGE multi-layered/multi-tracked guitar sound in real time. The White Tape is so awesome because it's a basic, no-nonsense dual delay without all the bells and whistles that is incredibly affordable. It meets my needs perfectly. I'll probably buy two more soon just to have as back-ups . . . just in case! They look great, don't take up a lot of real estate on a pedalboard, and they're built well. The knobs and jacks seem sturdy. I haven't tried the footswitch yet, but 1) this is mostly for a home recording set-up and 2) I'm pretty easy on equipment anyway. These will be always-on pedals when the board is complete, so I don't worry about the footswitch too much anyway.

This pedal is a lot of fun...especially in stereo. For the price it can't be beat! The repeats sound analog with bass roll-off and filtering. They stay *out of the way*. So do not expect to create an infinite wall of perfect digital repeats. But each side is capable of *running away*. You can get a lot of sounds from 20ms to long slap backs. Very easy to use. It was delivered very quickly. The price is crazy low. I am very pleased!

I have 'all the delays' in my Kemper. But, this thing is just 10x more fun. I have it running in Stereo into the Kemper's loop, and wow. For whatever reason, it's just more fun and involving to play with than the Kemper delays. There's a beautiful stereo effect with different delay times (and volumes) in the left vs right channels, and it's simplicity itself to adjusst this. Sounds great, and it's cheap. If this had an Earthquaker logo on it, it could be priced at $250 and no one would bat an eye. I have it running on a board with both bargain and high-end pedals and this one may be the most fun of them all. Seriously, get one.

I really dig this delay pedal. It reminds me of Donner's Yellow Fall - only in stereo. And, the repeats this guy creates sound cooler than the Fall - the low end of your tone falls away as the repeats, well, repeat...similar to old school analog delays. White Tape pedal has a very cool flavor. The build is solid. The interface is unique - you have separate knobs for the left and right channels - which makes it easy to pan efx around and create some motion. I'm using this to feed dialog samples from an old Tascam tape recorder, to create ambience in my new project - so far so good! And for the price - you can't go wrong. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

If you turn the level and feedback all the way up on both sides then wait a moment it will begin to produce two drone tones. Pulling back on feedback will reduce the volume. Use the time dial to change the pitch of the two stereo tones. Incredible. The tape echo itself is also good. I bought a second so I can have four separate drone voicings! One quirk with this pedal is the screws which protrude from the bottom, making it difficult to put on a wood table or pedal board.

This is a good sounding and very affordable pedal from Donner ($50 by the time I bought it). I had a couple Donner pedals and I was/am very satisfied with all of them (except for one). This pedal is one of Donner's newer once which "regular" sized with good looking prints on it. The tape delay sound good to my ears and adjusts very well with the knobs. By turning the feedback way up, you can create a feedback loop which is cool for some artistic effects. It's a stereo pedal but unfortunately I don't have splitter to split my guitar signal up.

I'm definitely a fan of the Echo Plex tone (I run an Xotic EP Boost as an always-on) and this delay has similar tonal quality. Very warm and kind of adds a nice low-mid bump, giving it a very full sound. Independent controls for left and right delay (level, time, and feedback) give you a ton of tweekability. Self-oscillation is super fun and easy on this unit. It's a great delay mono, but where it really shines is in stereo, imo. I've been running it after my Strymon Iridium and then into some nice headphones, and you feel engulfed in the sound. Just massive.

In the delay department, I had an Eventide TimeFactor, which replaced a Vox DelayLab. Both were overkill (esp. complexity wise) for any use I was likely to put them to (basically, I am a bedroom studio player). Plus, they were both fairly huge real estate wise. I said goodbye to the TimeFactor when I swapped in the (awesome) TC Electronic Plethora 5, which includes among its many possibilities, an incarnation of the Flashback Delay with all of its TonePrints. Note that all of these are stereo pedals and I have a full-on stereo (two amps) rig. … however, although the Plethora is fairly deep programming wise, it is limited (in some ways ...) in terms of real-time tweakability. What is (to me) one of the most interesting features of a stereo delay is the ability to have channel specific settings for delay (time) and feedback. The White Tape provides this, as well as level (mix), so if you are wanting to really make your stereo sound provide a 3D presence with tons of room to experiment, and you want something both inexpensive and more or less straightforward to wrap your head around as you tweak, this is a very good bet. It is more or less a one-trick pony in the one sense that it is providing a Tape Echo type delay - which sound however is pretty clean and warm and nice! I’ve really only explored it as part of a stereo signal path, but it seems that in a mono path, the second channel is active and then summed to the output; the enclosed cheat sheet illustrates settings for mono-only type effects, eg WOW. A mono kit however does not provide a context for what makes this pedal stand out value wise however. This is like a mini pedal in that it requires an external 9V power supply, but is (almost) full-size, presumably to pack more feature (and definitely, controls - six full size knobs, three per channel). Overall at the current price ($50) it is a very attractive, can’t go wrong deal for a starter echo pedal and if you are playing a stereo rig, not sure there is anything like it tweakability wise in its price category and as such is an extremely good value. I started out by buying a few Behringer pedals because they were $20. They work well but they feel delicate. I own several Donner products and have been impressed with the value and quality. They are not putting out boutique or exceptional quality products. However, they are solid and a good-to-great value. Comparing to the Behringer delay pedal, the Donner delay costs almost 2x as much but the Donner pedal is about 3/4 the size, the pedal's enclosure is metal, the footswitch button is a much better quality, it is true by-pass, and there are controls for both channels of the stereo output. The Behringer has a battery compartment and it is buffered (?). The both sound similar. There is minimal coloration of the sound and they both work well. If a Behringer delay pedal is good and a Boss delay pedal is closer to great, I think the Donner is closer to a Boss than a Behringer pedal.

This pedal is stunningly great. It's like a smoother version of a tube-screamer, with a clean boost, greater tone control, and versatile compression switch. For the price this thing fetched you can't go wrong. The build quality is excellent, the controls are simple to use and understand. A great pedal！ So yeah, I recommend it and I consider myself to be somewhat of a pedal snob.

So I just ordered one. It hasn't arrived yet so I can't give a real review yet. I want to clear up a few things though. This is a dual digital delay that can be used in stereo, each delay circuit feeding a different output, if you like. That's cool. You can end the ad copy there... But the description uses so many buzzwords that are misleading. It is definitely digital and not an analog (or tape, obviously) delay. That's not good nor bad, but don't be fooled into thinking it's not digital, if that's important to you. The fact that the ad copy says "analog dry signal" and 1000ms tells us that it's a digital delay. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it's what it called a PT2399-based delay, which is a very inexpensive delay IC made for karaoke machines that just happens to sound great for guitar pedals. I don't know what they're getting at with the "transparent boost" stuff, because it's not that at all. More buzzwords to trick you into thinking it's more than it is. So buy it because it's ridiculously cheap and because an independent dual delay that you can run in stereo is a very cool idea that not many pedals (ones with knobs at least) can do. Do not buy it thinking it's tape, analog or transparent.

I like how it has independent controls for the left and right outputs, it gives options for some very interesting bouncing and panning. It can go from very subtle delays/echoes all the way to crazy oscillations. $50 is an absolute steal for this pedal. I have delays that cost much more that don't do what the White Tape delay can. I definitely recommend it!
