1. LEGENDARY SOUND, NOW FOR EVERYONE
   Inspired by the legendary monophonic subtractive synthesizers of the past century, the audio path of the ESSENTIAL L1 is based on the well-known 3340 voltage-controlled oscillator, paired with a 3109 voltage-controlled low-pass filter and a high-performance 662 voltage-controlled amplifier. It is straightforward and highly efficient while delivering powerful sound, suitable for bass, lead, and other types of sound.
2. INTRODUCING: S2C SYSTEM
   The ESSENTIAL L1 is our first synth featuring the Snap2Connect (S2C) system. The S2C system allows two supported devices to communicate without a single cable. Two strong magnets will hold the synthesizer and keyboard without a problem. The S2C system lets you forget about a synthesizer's desktop versus keyboard versions, which is usually a hard pick for any synth enthusiast.
   Also, you can easily swap different supported user interfaces as the S2C system expands. For instance, you can connect the KB-32M (sold separately) keyboard with the S2C connector to further extend the performance capability of the ESSENTIAL L1.
3. MORE MODULATION = MORE VARIATION
   There are two 4-phase envelope generators plus a synchronizable low-frequency oscillator (LFO) that can go beyond the audible range as the modulation sources of the ESSENTIAL L1. More modulation sources provide more tonal capability, resulting in a sound you have never heard before.
   Both envelopes are velocity-sensitive and retrigger-able. You can control all 4-phase with the dedicated fader. You can also quickly merge ENV1 and ENV2 in the ENV menu to get a more authentic experience, just like the classic model.
   The ESSENTIAL L1 introduced a DRONE mode for the VCA, which comes in handy while designing ambient tones or taking the ESSENTIAL L1 as an effect unit, processing the external audio signal input from the EXT. IN port.
4. MODERNIZED USER INTERFACE
   Intuitive, ease of use has always been one of the key design philosophies of the ESSENTIAL series. In our ESSENTIAL B1, we introduced a much more pleasant-to-use step sequencer. This philosophy has been inherited and further optimized in the ESSENTIAL L1.
   We know how you hate menu diving. So, most of the parameters get dedicated controls on the front panel. The OLED display on the ESSENTIAL L1 also gives clear feedback on every action you take. All of these are to provide a straightforward user experience.
5. 64-STEP SEQUENCER + 5-MODE ARPEGGIATOR
   The ESSENTIAL L1 equips a 64-step sequencer that features SONG MODE. It can save 128 patterns and load up to 4 patterns within one song. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, pattern editing on the ESSENTIAL L1 is intuitive.
   The on-board arpeggiator offers five modes (down, down & up, up & down, up, random). Each mode has three types of range (one octave, two octaves, three octaves) to choose from.
   Trigger Edit is another key feature of the ESSENTIAL L1 arpeggiator. Utilizing this feature can achieve interesting patterns not found on the regular arpeggiator.
