I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase! The piano not only looks beautiful and is made of high-quality materials, but it also sounds incredible.
I have been playing the piano for over 18 years and have tried many different instruments, so I can confidently say that I am very impressed with the Donner DDP-400. The keyboard feels heavy, just like an acoustic piano, which I truly appreciate. Everything works perfectly.
While I probably won’t use all the extra features or other sounds it offers, I give it a solid 10/10 for quality. I also want to highlight how well and securely it was packaged. I was worried about potential scratches or damage during shipping, but there wasn’t a single flaw — everything arrived in perfect condition.
When I shared a video of the piano on my social media, all my musician friends started asking about the brand and commented on how beautiful and rich the sound is. I highly recommend it! Thank you!
Matthew J.
10/10 highly recommend buying. The keys are weighted, the sound quality is amazing, I feel like I’m playing on a stage whenever I play.

My keyboard arrived unscratched! I love it so far. The sound and weight of the keys are both great. I love that there's a headphone jack (versus some new keyboards having bluetooth). I had to buy an aux adapter to plug my beats into it. Build instructions are honestly sparse. It will be easy to disassemble to move, so I can't complain too much.

I’m 9 years old and this is my first piano. I got the Donner ddp 400 a week ago and I’ve been playing it almost all day every day. I like that it has full-weighted keys, 138 tones and a sliding cover. The piano has 10 buttons and 2 knobs. And it sounds great too. I also got the 2 seater bench. It’s my favorite thing to do and I like playing it a lot.

After the short assembly, the unit provides an amazing sound. Our pianist play a number of sets to the enjoyment of many.
Bountiful unit!

We love the piano! The product is wonderful and worth the money. Although, the company’s customer service is terrible. We received our piano with some damage to the underside, which is not Donner’s fault, but the fault of the carrier service they chose. I have written them an email twice and got no response. Not a good way to do business.
Stevie
Good thing about having bluetooth and very good sound quality.

Aside from one key that isn't as soft pressing than the other keys, I find it very enjoyable to play.
My 400 series kind of gives you the feeling of playing a small grand in terms of sound .

this review is for DDP400. there are a lot of bad reviews about Donner built quality. it made me hesitated. but i pulled the trigger. that was definitely very good decision. set up was easy. i set it up all by myself. recommend two person if you can’t lift heavy. the piano is inside wooden or pressed wood and it is heavy. very good quality. and reg. sound quality, it is amazing. the speakers are very loud. i only use 25% and it’s already loud and clear. it definitely sounds acoustic. if you don’t know it is digital, you will think it is real acoustic. this piano comes with most of the functions that you need like recording, midi, tempo, metro, and more. for those who doesn’t like weighted keys, that’s not for you. it has the feel of grand piano keys. this thing is concert or studio ready. i have Yamaha digital piano and Donner sounds better than Yahama. btw. i don’t get paid by Donner. i contacted Dinner customer service once reg order, my call was picked up right away and they took care of my questions in less than 5 min. amazing service as well. i will write another review in a few months reg. durability since i only have this for couple days. overall, very impressed. peace!

I got the ddp-400 this week and love it

Beautiful! I love the feel of the keys and the lovely sound. What really made me decide to purchase the DDP400 piano was the recommendation from Natalie Raynes Blanton. She gave it an excellent review in her remarks and the demo she played was just amazing!! I would highly recommend this piano!! I also purchased the two seater bench and it just adds to the piano itself.
Phillip W.
There was an issue with the first order but customer service was able to correct the problem so I am very pleased with the level of service and how they stand behind their reputation and products. The sound quality is amazing, sounds just like a non digital piano but has way more flexibility like volume control, headphones, and over 100 different instrument sounds. I got the bench and extended cabinet for a better sound or speaker option and I'm glad I did. Well worth it and my family has been enjoying it ever since we received it. Would definitely purchase again in the future

When I received this piano it was scratched in a couple spots. It was handled to many times to get it to me. The Styrofoam that it was in was all broken. I like the other features of this piano though. I would have given 5 stars, except for the packaging was not adequate and the piano was scratched.
Violet Turner
I bought this digital piano as a gift for my teenage son and he absolutely loves it. It's perfect for birthdays and Christmas, and he has been improving his piano skills with it.
Terry T.
I gave it as a gift and the person loves it. I ,personally, have a Yamaha Clavinova and Yamaha C3i. The Donner 400 can do that and more. As a concert pianist, I love the touch and feel of the keys. The sound is extremely good. I’m very pleased with the purchase and, for the money, is an exceptional buy
Ellie Turner
This digital piano is perfect for daily practice. The sound quality is excellent and it's designed specifically for practice sessions. Highly recommend!

Got the ddp 400 about two weeks ago.
I'm a begginer, never played before, but so far I'm in love with it. I wanted a digital piano that was close to a real piano and based on reviews this piano is great for that with the weighted keys.
Highly recommend for beginners
Aurora Thompson
I love using this digital piano for practice. The keys are responsive and the sound quality is excellent. Plus, it looks great as a decor piece in my home.
Antonio M.
The piano looks and feels good, being a beginner it sounds good to me. Putting it together was easy and not complicated at all.
I took away one star because of packaging. The box came all beat up with extra tape keeping it together. Corners were crush and flopping open. The piano took 11 days to get here and now this. I unpacked slowly and almost every piece of Styrofoam was crush and in pieces. Thankfully there was minimal damage, a corner was chipped off and other small scratches that are not visible. Need to pay a little more to your China connection to get better packaging for this 140lb box. Also I'm almost sure it left your warehouse in this condition before USP made it worst. I still would recommend this piano and happy with my purchase.
Landon Adams
I use this digital piano for practicing and performing on-stage. The sound is great and the machine is designed perfectly for practice sessions.
Isolde W.
The Donner DDP-400 Digital Piano is an amazing instrument! Particularly the weighted keys...as close to an acoustic piano ( which I have) as I imagine can be achieved. My son and daughter, both 13 years of age and beginner piano students, are in love with it.
Ailene M.
Loved it! The sound is phenomenal! ❤️

I love using this digital piano for learning. The keys are smooth and easy to play, making it a great tool for exercising my mind and exploring music.
Julian Phillips
I bought this digital piano as a gift for my granddaughter and she absolutely adores it. It's a perfect gift for teenagers who are interested in learning the piano.
Adam
I appreciate that this digital piano comes with the ability to plug in headsets, which allows me to practice without disturbing others. The volume control is also a handy feature that lets me adjust the sound to an optimal level for my needs.
Hazel Roberts
I use this digital piano for beginner piano lessons and it's been a great tool. It's user-friendly and has helped me progress in my piano learning journey.
Avery Martinez
I wanted an authentic piano experience and this digital piano delivered. It's easy to use and has beginner options that have helped me learn to play the piano.
Kaitlyn
This digital piano provides a realistic piano feel that is essential for proper touch and technique. As someone who has been playing the piano for years, I can attest that this feels just like a full-sized piano.
Jason
As someone who has played on many different types of pianos, this digital piano feels totally normal to me. The weighted keys and overall feel are very similar to professional pianos, and it's perfect for when I can't make it to a practice room.
Richard
I purchased this digital piano for my daughter who is learning to play the piano, and she absolutely loves it. She says it feels just like playing a real piano and has helped her develop control and precision in her playing.
Rebecca
With over 100 different tones to choose from, this digital piano has something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for a classic piano sound or want to experiment with more unique tones, this instrument has it all.
Alexis
I am blown away by how similar this digital piano feels to a real acoustic piano. The keys are weighted perfectly and provide a realistic piano feel that is essential for practicing and developing proper technique.
Charles W.
So when it came in one of the legs screws were not attached now since it something I could fix I did replace the screws and added two more recessed screws to secure it. Its heavy and not easy to return I did check it and it does sound really good but I think the quality control on the support peices needs work.
Edward
The carrier did not update the tracking information for several days, leaving me uncertain of when I would receive the package.
Taylor
This digital piano has an awesome set of keys that feel just like the keys on a high-end concert piano. If you're a serious pianist, this is definitely the instrument you want to be practicing on.
Nicole
I received my package, but some items were missing or damaged during shipping.
Morgan
The extensive selection of voices and rhythms on this digital piano is amazing. I love having the ability to switch up the sound and style of my playing with just the touch of a button. The recording function is also a great touch, allowing me to listen back to my sessions and track my progress over time.
Joshua
Overall, I am extremely impressed with this digital piano. It feels just like a real piano and is perfect for practicing and developing your skills. Whether you're a beginner or a professional, this instrument will help take your piano playing to the next level.
Makayla
This digital piano has so many features and options that I am still discovering new ones. The vast selection of sounds, rhythms, and tones is truly impressive and makes playing the piano even more enjoyable.
Marabeth G.
I am new to the Donner brand but after reading some reviews and watching videos from professional musicians playing on it, I decided to give it a try. My daughter and I have been playing piano for 7 years (I consider myself a beginner/intermediate) player so quality of the sound and feel of the keys were our biggest concerns. We like having weights keys so the feel is more like a standard upright piano and the sound coming from below the keyboard instead of on top gives it a more full sound. When you start playing the higher notes it can get a little tinny sounding, but again not being a professional it's not too much of a bother.
Having the full body with pedals also makes sitting down to play feel more like your at a traditional piano instead of an electric one.
Assembly was easy, but make sure to lay out all the pieces where you are going to assemble. Having another person around is useful just to help hold some pieces and to lift the keyboard into place.
I love the options for the reverb and different instruments that can be played, however I don't like that the last selection you set isn't able to be saved. Every time I sit down to play I need to change my settings because it defaults back to the original settings. When setting the touch sensitivity, it's actually what I could consider reversed. If I want a more authentic touch, a light press gives you a light sounds or hard press gives a loud sound, it needs set to Soft touch.
I am sure we haven't even begun to explore all the setting available on this beautiful piano, but playability is wonderful and I'm happy to have purchased it.
Eric
What I love about this digital piano is that it has numerous modes and options that allow me to customize my playing experience. I particularly enjoy using the music templates, which help me improve my skills while playing along to different genres of music.
Steven
While there are certainly more functions than I know how to use, I appreciate that this digital piano is designed to be easy to operate. The many voices and recording options provide endless possibilities for creativity, making this instrument perfect for both novice and experienced pianists alike.
Michael L.
Looks like it ould be a good instrument, but the delivery included the wrong parts

This is an absolutely stunning electric piano, the look and feel are more like a real piano - and a very high quality one at that! My Mom was a church organist and we always had an upright piano in the house. I wanted the same experience for my kids, but buying and moving a real piano just wasn't in the cards (not to mention the required annual maintenance - professional tuning, etc).
Enter the Donner 88-key digital piano! This is no ordinary electric piano - the action and quality of the keys mimic that of a grand piano! The finish is that of a high quality piece of wood furniture and the sound quality is absolutely stunning! It sounds so much like a real piano, I honestly forgot I was playing an electric! 5-melodic-stars!
JeffK
This piano is amazing. It has over 135 different key sounds and percussion. We have another lighter weight piano that we started my son on and it isn’t close. He loved the first one. This one has really solid weighted keys that feel very much like a real piano. This piano is a bit bigger but is better in every way. It has a retractable key cover, Bluetooth onboard, comes with a wired headset and holder under the keyboard, and has nice size powerful speakers that can fill a room with sound. Plus, it just looks good with polished accents throughout. The pedals are also very functional. The base has gliders of some sort that make moving this heavy (over 100lbs) piano easy. Donner has just really thought of everything here. If you are looking for a fairly priced piano to get started, this is an easy recommendation. Even experienced players will enjoy this. Also, there is a Donner app and this piano includes free online lessons with it. Nice touch. Buy with complete confidence.

I have been learning piano for 10 years, and I stopped for a few years because of busy work, until this year I bought a Donner digital piano. It's a big guy, but easy to assemble, and it's good value for money, out of my expectations,. I am so happy to have it and make it a part of our family. Everyone who came to our house complimented it.
Joanna
As for the keys, it has a good touch feeling. Unlike ordinary electric pianos, the keys are real piano weights. I need to hit it with more force in the bass and just a light touch in the treble, which stimulates my fingers and increases the flexibility of my hand.
Tricia
Nice piano and great customer service to help me resolve an issue when putting together. Thank you again for your help and patience!!
Anna
This piano is far from perfect, but it is still a very welcome, affordable (for pianos) addition to our household.
Tin
Highly recommend this digital piano to beginners.
Donald N.
I like the quality of the sound, and the responsiveness on my computer. A little more expensive than other digital pianos of Donner.
Kelly C.
This piano is good and at this price, it has several awesome features. I love the weighted keys and the sound quality overall is great. It has a variety of functions, such as 128 voice polyphony, 138 tones(includes 128 musical instruments sound and 10 drum voice tones), 100 rhythm styles, 20 demo songs, 100 etudes, chorus, mixing effects, timbre, rhythm storage banks, intro/ outro accompaniment, A/B interludes selection. With IOS, Android, and USB MIDI connection with computer.
Queenie
As for function, the keys are indeed weighted which makes playing feel better and helps control how loud each note is played. The keys are evenly spaced with no weird gaps or spaces. I like 'em, but I'm not finicky either.
It can do a little recording, but the reality is that you'll just run MIDI into a computer for that. Selecting voices is a bit slow and clunky because you have to press a button to move from one to the next. Holding the button down does get it to scan, but the scan is slow. It would be better to have a knob that you just crank to get where you want. The voices it does have are nice and huge fun to play with.
Arial W.
The pedals feel almost same as real piano.
Aron K.
Easy to learn. Great weighted keys for the price. Good for kids and beginners.
Liza S.
Beautiful at home.
Diamond W.
Bigger than expected. Makes the living room looks great. Great sound control in Grapevine keys. Comes with headphones which is good good for the kids plan.
Brent W.
We are not pros, not even close. Don't know how to play anything more than an off key hot cross buns. This seems like a great piano to learn on. Putting it together was a pain, the instructions were not helpful. Turning it on, and switching through the options is easy.
Shelly Q.
The sliding keyboard cover is solid and smoothly slides to open and close.

Works exactly as described! A+ highly recommended!

The digital piano was a gift to our daughter. My husband is teaching her. The sound is beautiful, the piano looks great too. We did order a Donner piano bench for this. Assembly was easy and we are quite happy with this.
Thomas R.
It's a beautiful looking upright electric piano, and it sounds really nice. No, it doesn't sound exactly like a real piano, but I didn't expect it to. For what it is, I really enjoy it, and it's an instrument that not only looks great but inspires me to sit down and practice at it. Beautiful piano - and sounds very natural.
Wesley C.
This is really a beautiful electric piano. I got this to replace an older electric keyboard I've been using on a stand. The upright-design of the piano with the sliding key cover really transformed my room and my practice experience. It just feels so much better to actually sit down in front of a "real" piano, uncover the keys, and start making music. I also love the built in music stand and the fact that this piano is large enough that you can actually set things on it, so it really is functional in more ways than one.
The appearance is quite elegant, it's very heavy, and the wood has a nice natural grain to it. The "progressive hammer action" keys are really nice, they feel just like the real thing to me. Much better than my previous piano that just had weighted keys. The hammer action is a big improvement in touch and sensitivity in my opinion.
The sound is excellent. The traditional piano sounds are very natural, much less "digital" sound than my previous electric keyboard, and it really inspires me to just sit down and play. The volume and projection are great as well, the sound really envelopes you, and it sounds quite big. I also really enjoy the huge range of musical instruments to mess around with (128 instruments). I am not a classically trained musician, but I really love being able to sit down and improvise with a wide range of sounds.

I love the style & color of this piano, really suit our home well!!!!. This is a great digital piano for beginners. I haven't discovered everything of it yet but, I am happy to have it. It is beautiful & compact. Perfect for small spaces & great addition for your home decor. I highly recommend Donner DDP-400 digital piano.

Won't replace the real thing, but it's a great substitute!

I'd recommend assembling this with another person.

Ii's so fancy. Great alternative to an upright acoustic piano
CL
This is a very good-looking electric piano. The assembly was not too complicated. Sound is good with many options. The volume control is easy to use. It's nearly perfect except for the uncanny feel of the keys.
Donny Conyac
I was contacted by Donner and was impressed at their customer support. They fixed the issue with little to no effort on my end and now I have a 100% intact and functioning piano.
Donny Conyac
Overall the piano looks and sounds great. However, instructions are poorly written (or poorly translated) and the slider handle was ripped off prior to opening. 2 of the screws came out of it and are yet to be found and, due to the construction, it I'd impossible to screw them back in without taking the entire cabinet apart. Was able to salvage with gorilla wood glue and clamps, but was incredibly disappointed at the lack of build quality the main host possesses.
Kathy C.
expensive but worthwhile!
Barbara E.
This piano exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend buying this product. However, I don't use any of the fancy technical stuff. This is only a piano for me to practice on and I haven't even listened to the domo tracks. It sounds wonderful and is a delight to the fingers. I think I enjoy this more than I would a real piano. Really, it is just that good.
The happy lad
I've been playing and performing on the piano for over a decade now, and I'm super picky about what piano I play on. This digital piano surprisingly sounds well and also has a decent touch when playing long sessions. I'm currently using this to also write and compose music on my M1 MacBook Air, and it connects seamlessly. The surface finish is very convenient for anyone who reads sheet music or a place to put their laptop/tablet on. Set up and assembly took a little bit longer because the keyboard itself is heavy. I'd recommend assembling this with another person to properly seat the keyboard onto the stand. There is no bench which is a bummer, but at least I am having a ball playing on this digital piano. There are a bunch of sounds integrated into the keyboard, two-speaker systems which sound nice, especially in the living room, and even a headphone mount to store the included headphones. Overall, this is a nice and fancy keyboard I'd recommend for any amateur or beginner looking for a quality set of hammered keys they'll enjoy for years to come.

Love this piano.
The quality is great, very sturdy construction.
I like the quality of the sound, and the responsiveness on my computer.
Overall I'm really happy with this. The keys feel great, the weight is awesome.
Very happy with the piano.

Easy to assemble. Great digital piano for beginners. The sound quality is good. The design looks fantastic. There is a cover to protect the keyboard when it is not in used. There are many music templates to be used on the left control panel. Then the user can choose either basic piano mode or other specific music modes. Highly recommend this digital piano to beginners.
DisneyDenizen
Gorgeous full-size piano. Very high quality for a digital piano. Fantastic sound. Outstanding key feel. Has all the keys. Qualitatively just so much better than our old piano.
I like that it has the built-in key cover.
I like that the music stand is so large.
But most of all I love how much it feels like a “real” piano.
You do have to assemble it. Be aware that the box weighs over 100 pounds and is extremely cumbersome. Also, most of the weight will be in the main piece, meaning you need to have one or two people around to assist who can lift up that much weight.
We separately ordered a Donner piano bench, which I can also highly recommend.

The Donner 88 Key Piano Weighted Keyboard, premium upright Keyboard Piano for Beginner is a nice piece. It was very well packed when arrived. There is no damage during delivery and no blemishes on it.
I have 2 kids playing violin for years and they are ready to learn another instrument for fun. I didn’t want a cheap keyboard or a full size piano. The piano is pretty lightweight and only took me 45 minutes to put together. We’ve been playing over a month and have no problem so far.
It gives you the ability to learn lessons through APP and making demo recordings and music arrangement.
The sound quality is good, and is excellent for beginner and intermediate players.
Keys are weighted, but a little stiffer than real pianos I've played. It is not terrible to get used to. The pedals feel almost same as real piano.
It is definitely a nice instrument if you’re in the market and have a budget under $1000.

I just can't say enough about this digital piano! I knew it would be nice, as it's a Donner, and they have proven themselves to my family to be wonderful and affordable quality. We own four or five other products from them and all are five star items! Since we have a friend that is an accomplished musician and owns a music store, I feel confident in saying that Donner is really becoming a real contender in the music industry. All the Donner instruments we have gotten have impressed him.
It's hard to even know where to start with this piano. First, it's gorgeous! It would look just beautiful in any space, with the classic black that is a combination of matte and gloss in appropriate places.
The keys are spaced and feel just like a high end concert piano. All the digital additions of demo songs and instrument sounds are just the icing on the cake. It's just a pleasure to play! The sound is just beautiful. However, if does have headphones to keep all that beautiful music to your own ears, if the rest of your household is not participating.
Assembly was very easy, although I was quite nervous at first, as it didn't come with step by step instructions. It did have an illustration as to how it all went together. I found that laying the main body on it's back, on the floor, then attaching the sides, then the foot pedal base, worked best. Then with two of us moving it upright, we screwed on the backing last.
I'm really excited to watch my grandchildren learn to play on this gorgeous piano. They are excited about all the extras and it really has their interest! Just a perfect mix of modern and traditional for children to learn on!
Jim
Donner seems to set the bar higher with every product I encounter of theirs. It seems like a company by musicians for musicians. Each product is feature filled, cost friendly and never sacrifices quality.
Easy to install. The piano comes with 4 pieces for the stand and a 1 piece fully assembled upper keyboard. You have 2 side pieces, 1 backing and 1 foot pedal. Line them up and bolt and screw them in. Put the stand upright, then attach the keyboard. The keyboard is attached via twist knob screws that help make it easy to detach and maneuver. I think this is such a bonus feature if you want to quickly detach and travel with the keyboard only, but for me it is not as portable as their other electronic pianos.
The build itself is sturdy, with excellent quality wood, seamless construction and a sleek, high-end, premium look, but let's be real, you didn't get this just as a decorative piece in your home, you got this to play or learn how to play.
You get the best of both worlds with this keyboard. You get your standard old school grand piano feel, but jam packed and feature filled with all the tech of today.
The feel of the keyboard is similar to professional ones you find at hotels, bars, restaurants, churches, etc where you just happened to walk over when no one was looking and snuck a few keys to play. The keys are weighted, it is a welcomed improvement over standard, flimsy, lightweight electronic keyboards.
This is a pro-style looking and playing piano that is compact, but still big on sound. There are a number of your typical digital options in regards to beats, different musical sounds, plug in headsets and volume control. You may forget it is an electronic keyboard by how it looks, but it has everything an electronic keyboard offers, but delivers at a much better feel and quality of sound.
If you can't tell by now, I am blown away by this keyboard from the sound to the looks to the construction. Excellent all around.

I had no business trying to assemble this on my own (but I'd start such a business if there was enough money in it, I suppose ...). Aside from accessories, It comes in 5 major pieces with 10 screws, so it's really not all that bad. The instructions themselves are screwy, in that that they are wrong about the screws. They imagine the back panel has 4 brackets and 4 screws, but there are only two brackets and two screws. And they tell you to put the ling fat screws where the long skinny screws go, and the long skinny screws where the long fat screws should go - like trying to fit a very round peg into a smaller round hole. But you'll figure this out quickly enough when you see that the screws are obviously wrong. Since there aren't many screws to confuse, this really isn't a major liability. The assembly guide is really just a diagram with pieces and arrows and some of the arrows from the screws to the predrilled holes are wrong. That's all. Blame the artist, not the engineer. Anyway, I got it assembled in about 30 minutes - not bad - and I don't think I threw out my back or anything lifting the heavy top piece onto the support structure, though it really was stupid of me to have done that, especially since I was also barefoot. But I was lucky. Anyway, overall, a win. It sounds fantastic - like a real piano, not an electronic one - and it's a definite upgrade from our previous unit. My picture is mostly just to show you generally what it looks like assembled and to prove that I did, in fact, get it together - but I didn't remove all the protective plastic film yet, so it's not as shiny and clean looking as it is when the plastic is all removed. 5 stars because it sounds great (I already played a few tunes on it even though I hadn't removed all the plastic). My father died last year and I played his favorite song first to initiate this thing into our home. Miss you, Dad. Anyway, it looks good, and takes up almost no room. Also, delivery box was perfect and it was well packed, and used only a moderate amount of styrofoam (i.e. I could fit it into my regular trash bin along with my weekly trash). It does not come with a bench, but I prefer that because I think piano benches are generally unstable and uncomfortable, and your darling angelic kids, should you have some, start pushing each other when they sit together on a single bench. The two stools in the picture are my own. Overall definitely a big thumbs up from me.

When I was young, I remember my piano teacher warning me about the dangers of playing a digital piano because it would "ruin my touch." For the longest time, I swore by this tenet, and I always preferred a traditional piano. However, tuning can get costly and after frequent moves throughout my childhood, the piano somehow got lost. During the pandemic, my urge to play strongly reignited, but I hesitated because of the costs involved. I saw this digital piano, and despite my upbringing, I decided to try it out.
Installation: There are not many pieces, so assembling this is not particularly difficult -- it definitely helps to have 2 people, but it's doable by a single, dedicated person (approximately a 45-minute chore). One issue, however, is that many of the screws do not have caps, and some are slightly oversized, which leaves a bit of a protrusion sticking out of the wooden pieces...this is a bit of a safety hazard, but most of the screws are somewhat out of the way, so they are not readily accessible.
Sound: I immediately noticed that the bass chords sounded somewhat jumbled (i.e., when a bass chord is pressed loudly, each individual note is difficult to specify). This issue is not egregiously bad, but it's definitely noticeable. The higher pitched keys play fairly crisp/cleanly though, and interestingly, the sound is much, much better with the headphones on (think "concert hall").
Touch: The weight of pressing down on the keys seemed similar to a traditional piano, which was a pleasant surprise. The foot pedals could be better, though. The echo should be felt immediately after the right pedal is pressed, but it seemed a bit stiff.
Extras: There are many, many little options for this piano, such as the availability of over 100 different tones and the option to connect with your phone or computer. But in all honesty, because I am much more comfortable with a traditional piano, I just set this to the default "Acoustic grand piano" mode, and I have not experimented with most of the other features.
All in all, I've been enjoying playing this piano during my free time. I love that I don't have to worry about the keys going out of tune, the headphones are convenient accessories, and the piano itself has a surprisingly elegant aesthetic (i.e., smooth wood trim and a clean, straightforward design). I doubt a digital piano can truly, fully replicate a stringed piano (at least not with current technology), and this piano is far from perfect, but it is still a very welcome, affordable (for pianos) addition to our household.

Cons:
Assembling this piano is not easy. It took me 3+ hours (without any help). The intructions & manual was not helpful. I am not an expert and so far this is the hardest assembling I have ever done. That is why I decided to make an unb0xng & assembling video. It's not top notch video but I am hoping it helps. And also this piano does not comes with a bench. I have to purchased it separately.
Pros:
I have this piano for almost a month now and I play on it everyday and I truly think it's beautiful and sounds great. I'm still a beginner, so I don't have a lot of experience so I cannot be technical on my review but, my husband said this piano sound a lot better than my old unweighted keyboard. I definitely agree with that.
I love the style & color of this piano, it looks lovely & really suit our home well. The size is perfect for my foyer. The sliding keyboard cover is solid and smoothly slides to open and close. The page holder is solid and large, with brackets to keep the page in its place. I can also fold it down when not in use. You do have to set it up against a wall though, because the back of the piano has a thin piece of wood and screws go in there, etc. But nobody sees that if you place it against a wall. The keys are sensitive and weighted. The keys even have a synthetic ebony and ivory feel. It makes it significantly easier to keep my fingers from slipping off of the keys while playing. A really nice touch that my old keyboards never had.
The different voice polyphony & tones are fun to have, although I don't think I can use it all & the other many cool features. It also has a bluetooth connectivity that I can connect to my phone & computer. There are ports for the headphone jack at the left side and underneath with a hook to hold when not in use. However I did not attach it because I am not gonna be using a headphone. But nice to know that this has headphone included.
I was so excited when I first saw this on Amazon Vine. I wanted a keyboard that have the weighted keys, three pedals, and sounded like a real piano. I'd been wanting to have a piano for quite sometimes. I am glad I finally own one. However the first piano I got, arrived with damage. It has been scratched, big bend at the front & it don't sound right. I contacted the seller & they send me another one. Customer service team did a great job helping me through of the process.
Overall, this is a great digital piano for beginners. I haven't discovered everything of it yet but, I am happy to have it. It is beautiful & compact. Perfect for small spaces & great addition for your home decor. I highly recommend Donner DDP-400 digital piano.

Very high quality for a digital piano. Fantastic sound. Seems like donner did a better job to upgrade this DDP series. Better with a discount.

Nice lacquer coating. Well enough to have 138 tones.
