Really incredible product. Got it for my son who is learning. For the price of a couple pedals, here is all the pedals. But wait there's more. Presets, wanna sound like a song or a band? It comes with preset sounds (with legally distinct names) such as AC-CD or Ironmanish. Are you or your loved one rhythmically challenged, no problem, cause you not only get a metronome you get a drum machine. Dozens of beats and styles & you can dial in the tempo from retirement home Helen to Denmark dexedrin death metal. No tangled wires, no dozens of patch cords (which one has a short?). All of this in on convenient package. I wish they had this when I was a kid. Why only 4 stars. It took my old ass a half hour to figure out how to turn it on (switch is easy but Gain was all the way down). This thing needs better instructions or better, a video.

I purchased this unit primarily to use as a looper and to try out playing with a drum machine. As a learner, I didn't want to drop large, as some of the looper pedals with drum machines are not cheap. The Donner unit gave me that, and more. This unit has far exceeded my expectations, not only as a looper and drum machine, but also as an effects pedal. A few things I really like:
1. the cell phone app. Can't say enough about it.
2. the desktop app. If you're inclined, I find this a far easier way to edit and control the unit.
3. If you are running the desktop app, through some magic that surprised me, any music or sound you have playing will play back through the unit and into your amp, if that's how you are connected. For me, as a learner, that's fantastic. I can play my favourite back tracks in my browser and they come right on through my amp, along with my guitar. Fantastic feature and unexpected. Bonus!

The Donner Arena 2000 Multi-Effect Guitar Pedal AMP Modeling Multiple Effects Processor is a great little gem .
It has so many options programed into it and with the option to add my own into it is just way cool . I haven't had it to long yet but with everything it has and does it may take me awhile to go through it all , but everything I have tried on it so far is very awesome and for the money it is a great bargain .

I'm not a real guitar player but played bass for last 46 years and added this unit for my home studio mainly for when I add guitar parts.
Very well built nice little unit at a great price.
I haven't spent much time with it yet but really like it's ease of use, that's always a good thing and great sounds are definitely available within.
Thanks Donner for another great product!

I have one and it is a very capable unit, with features that rubber some other multi-effect pedals I've researched. Things like XLR outputs, separate output volume controls, and stomp button descriptions on the display gives it a lot of flexibility. Having apps on computer, iOS and Android make it even easier to set up.
I have a MIDI pedal attached to give more stomp button options making it even more versatile. I wish they had bass effects, or bass firmware for it. That would make it the perfect device for me.

I love the Donner Arena 2000! Tons of options and when I run it into my power amp, it is an amazing full live rig.
Jared Boudakian
I have the arena 2000 and it's the best multi fx/amp sim for the money. I use this as my live set up with 2 amps and 2 cabs. The effects and Sims are top notch. Super versatile. Great in a studio or on stage. I absolutely love this pedal and I can't wait to see what Donner puts out next

I bought this to have a smaller light-weight option to my larger/heavier pedal boards ... this one definitey seemed smaller and lighter. I actually enjoy mostly the adjustability by using an iPhone & app to control and adjust parameters. But one has to spend time with this unit, to get used to the sounds, the EQ, and the amps etc. I have it now in my livingroom, along with my small Roland practice amp... to play electric guitar and even some acoustic-electric stuff. It is a good deal for the price. It is very good for what it is.

This multieffects pedal has essentially replaced my favorite pedalboard overnight. I don't use the amp and cab simulation effects (yet) as I usually play through my own amp. The effects are really good, and tweakable to the point where they sound like the real thing. For instance, I compared a TS808 against the Donner and found that I could get a nearly perfect sound from Donner's Klon effect with a high gain setting. Fuzzes are great, and the reverb/delays are really clean and deep. This is an amazing pedal that I can throw in my backpack when I'm gigging or playing at church. Love it!

I am using the Arena 2000 with my Donner DJP 1000, and Fender Stratocaster, Fender Bassman, and 350w Studio Monitors.... Stay Tuned!

Since I am a senior citizen and never outgrew my love of rock music reminesent of the 60’s, I am relegated to being my own one man band, writer/composer/arranger and recording engineer. I have other musical outlets but I still would rather make those musical concoctions for the joy of it. Well that demands the perfect sounds of the right instruments which can get tedious and confusing at times. The Arena 2000 is very flexible addition to my guitar arsenal and takes a lot of the frustration out of editing the arrangement on any project. I can make the guitar in my imagination the one in my arrangement with simple steps. I needed the Arena 2000 when I was young but there was nothing like it then. I am thrilled with having it now.

So I have had a huge experience learning the potentials of this great unit- I've learned about many of the parameters easy to control- my only set backs so far are with the pedal- and pitch control! What if you are able to control the pedal polarity? So far the pitch control tunes downward as you pull back on the pedal, which is backwards to me- could it be able to drop the pitch as you press forward (down)? Also, I don't want the pitch range to be full 2 octaves- can pitch control be set to start at a certain note? Please let me know when this may be updated!!? Very happy to be exploring!!

I love the compact size of this product. It easily fits in my gig bag, which makes it perfect for on-the-go music-making. The addition of a mic XLR to 1/4 adaptor and gain booster is a bonus.

I love using this product as a pedalboard addition. It adds so much versatility to my setup and the integrated looper is a fantastic feature.

I'm a novice electric guitar player (been playing acoustic for 25 years) but have been on the fast track with my bandmates helping me every step of the way, including the use of this incredible piece of technology. I just gigged with it for the first time this past weekend, and it was so easy to use and created an incredible sound on stage.

While there is a longer learning curve, once you get the hang of it, this product is easy to use. The setup with an iPad and the USB mini connector make it even more convenient. The graphical interface is a nice touch.
Michael W.
Great things: ON/OFF switch! Separate volume controls for headphones, XLR outputs and amplifier outputs. USB-C connector. Uses standard center negative 9 Volt power supply. English manual IS readable! Global ability to turn speaker IR's on/off separately for different outputs. Expression pedal is solid and works well. Unit is very stylish and well built. Soft touch buttons are silent, light up to show function and work well. Has five knobs beneath the screen to quickly adjust settings on the fly. It has 22 touch buttons on it to quickly jump through all aspects of a program for modifying the preset. Small enough to fit on many pedal boards to integrate with other pedals. I would only wish for a 1/4" headphone output and an effects loop. For the money this puppy is unbeatable. -- Michael

The sound quality on this drum machine is top-notch. I've been able to achieve professional-sounding beats with ease. Highly recommend for any musician.
Xavier Phillips
As a beginner, this product has been an invaluable practice device for me. The range of effects available allows me to experiment with different sounds and improve my playing.
Madison Phillips
I found the interface of this product to be slow and confusing. The computer app was difficult to navigate and I struggled to adjust the settings. Overall, it was not user-friendly.
Nora Roberts
I needed a lightweight backup pedal that I could easily transport, and this product fits the bill perfectly. It's versatile and provides all the effects I need in a compact design.
Joe D.
Great buying experience! Thanks, Team Donner for this versatile and affordable product! It does exactly what I want it to do, which is provide me with significantly improved sonics/dimensionality in my overall guitar sound, with specific attention to that CRUNCHY distortion sound I'm always chasing while writing chops with my Ibanez RGIB21 baritone CRUNCH machine.
So many options, so little time!
Keep up the great work!

It took me a bit to get the hang of using this product, but once I did, it became my go-to. The iPad setup and graphical interface make it so much easier to navigate and experiment with different sounds.

I am impressed with the Arena. It’s easy to use and understand, even for an older person as myself. It has plenty of good tones and the modeling is very good. I was able to get a setup that was satisfactory in about 30 minutes without reading the instructions or you tube help. It’s going to be my new rig for local gigs. Thank you for building a nice pedal.
Warren L.
Thanks she made Maggie and me so happy at first because the delivery time took so long I thought I was getting scam but when I’m wrong I say I’m wrong you guys came through really appreciate it and love this box. My only complaint is you guys need to have some tutorials on how to use them as there’s a lot of complex stuff here that the 60’ and overcrowd would have difficulty with and could use some guidance. Please advise.
Zoey Martinez
The sound quality of this drum machine is decent, and the effects sound believable. The 12 filters available catch feedback nicely and add a unique touch to my compositions.
Frank F.
Got this as an emergency backup/travel box, and to load IR’s as an emergency DI/cab sim with everything else shut off. Works great for that, but also I can create some great, usable sounds. The models of amps and pedals absolutely do not sound like their namesakes. Don’t expect to turn on an LA-2A or Klone or BE/SLO100 and have it behave like the real thing. It’s not even close. I work with all of the real things. But if you forget about the names, and just listen to the sounds each makes and create recipes by ear, you can get very usable sounds out of this unit. For the price, it has a high value proposition. It doesn’t appear to be able to withstand heavy abuse but that’s not the point with a unit like this.
Grant S.
I am still learning and it may take me a while. So far I am very impressed with all the features and for the price I think it's amazing however, the tone seems very bright, much brighter than I prefer but as I said I am still learning this unit. I haven't used it in a live setting yet and when I do it will be direct into the sound system and maybe it won't seem so bright. All in all, for the price this unit is pretty amazing.
Skylar Wilson
I needed a lightweight backup pedal that I could rely on, and this product has exceeded my expectations. It's easy to transport and provides all the effects I need.

Still playing with this as there are a ton of pre packaged cans/amps/sounds. Very impressed with the build quality and functionality so far, ESPECIALLY for the price point . Going to continue tinkering and hopefully come out with an even higher opinion
Paul G.
It offers great variety of tones and effects w drum beats to keep it creative makes it easy to create your own riffs while noodling.I’ve just been plugged in to headphone in my room and it’s going just the way .thanks
Christopher D.
This effects unit provides a multitude of different tones from gentle to hard core djent. Great resource for practice and would probably hold-up to the rigors of stage performance. Highly recommend.

The Arena 2000 is a very good value offering a lot of presets, excellent input/output options, and a good build quality. The manual is helpful to get going quickly, but the phone app is a real plus for making faster edits. The presets provide a great overview of all the different effects, amp, and cab simulations, but, as others have pointed out, the real value is when you get inside the presets and customize them for your own personal use. I'm having fun with it. So far I've used it to plug into the front end of a clean guitar amp (disable cab IR for 1/4" outputs) and to experiment with editing while via headphones. Next up I'm going to plug the stereo XLR outs into my sound system to try out the cab IR's in that context and finally will run it into my DAW and try some recording. Great bang for the buck! I wish Donner would make a small padded bag to protect the unit when put into a larger gig case, etc.
Nicholas G.
I am pretty happy with the arena 2000 so far. The included amps and cab sims all seem serviceable. The existing presets are okay overall with some pretty great ones and a bunch of useless ones but you can make your own of course too. Comparing it to my old line 6 pod hd500 this sounds MUCH better. I don't love or hate the settings and layout but using the app makes it much easier. I will say this is not to the level of an Axe fx or kemper which no one should expect for the price but for a non pro level recording musician I think the sounds are more than adequate. Other than that it seems fairly sturdy and I'm glad I got it. (Donner if you make this into a rackmount unit I'd probably buy a second one just sayin)

This little modeler packs serious tone! I've been using amp modeling since its inception. I've continued to update with the new models. I especially like these little units that have an expression pedal on board. The Arena2000 is a tone chasers dream. The inputs and outputs have been well thought out and there seems to be nothing missing. However, the unit is quite small. The plus side is that it fits comfortably on my desk. The downside is that I pretty much only had room enough for the heel of my foot when using the treadle. The Arena2000 utilizes both touchscreen and rotating knobs. Once you get into it the layout it is very intuitive. I read just enough of the manual to know where the touchscreens are, after that I was figuring it out for myself. The rotary knobs are very responsive. You'll notice that every subtle change of the parameters changes the tone. This is as it should be and feels like using a real amp. However, I had a problem with my fingers activating the touchscreen while using the rotary knobs. The AC power supply has swap-outs for different country's receptacles. It completely lost power two times while I was using it. I swapped out the power supply for another with the same voltage and amps and haven't had an issue since then. Despite being a little confused by the name, I'm going to welcome the Arena2000 into my 2022 recording studio.
James S.
Great Product! Easy to use! Great for gigging which is what I needed this for. I never had a good system to hookup to house PA's, this has a balanced XLR output to provide this use. The presets give you a chance to fully customize to your personal tone!

I waffled between 4 and 5 stars on this one. I bought it to have a smaller footprint on stage when I play acoustic gigs. It's actually a lot of fun to create my own patches and sound combinations. There are a lot of distorted sounds and folks who are more into metal or at least harder rock would probably really love this. I'm more of a jam band fan, so I just wanted to have some subtle delays, phasers, chorus, etc. in various combinations. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it really can do a lot. My only complaint is that it does sound...digital. Many of the pedals on my main board are analog, so maybe I'm just sensitive to the differences and I doubt folks in the audience can tell the difference. With that being said, it's not a significant cost and you can have a lot of fun with it no matter what you play.

outstanding value for the price

Very nice all the way around. Built very well. Huge color screen. Easy to use. So many options and features.

Fantastic little amp modeler with a lot of preset sounds but it really shines when you do a deep-dive and start manipulating the parameters and shaping your own.

This unit has some very good presets and sound's amazing. The unit has a great looper and pretty good drum sounds.
