One problem.....the writing for the knob labels is TOO SMALL.
Its TINY and not easy to see to set up, especially not quickly, mid play.

I have purchased three pedals from Donner. The flanger and the triple effect (chorus, delay, distortion) and they are fabulous. Sound great and priced very reasonably. The auto wah is nice but not as impressive. Still a cool pedal for the money but a narrow range of sounds that are more like a mellow phaser with a little wah overtone. It’s ok. Not up to the high standards of the first two I got tho.

I purchased the Dynamic Wah pedal and had a chance to try it out this morning. On the bridge humbucker on my Gretsch Streamliner guitar, it really makes an impact. If I play any notes on the thin E string or B string, it wahs with such intensity that it is literally an immediate attention-getter. I look forward to hearing all the variations that I will be able to produce.

This pedal works great. For the price it can do a lot. I can't say it is as good or close to a mutron or EHX Qtron but to me this pedal is awesome. A lot of fun to use and i can get some great sounds from it. I would recommend.

I was looking for an auto wah pedal for the Dani California solo. Since I don’t use the wah in hardly any other songs I wanted a budget pedal that will do it’s job. I checked out this pedal demo on YouTube and was mighty impressed. I was pleasantly surprised. OK not surprised. I was pleasantly shocked. This along with the Doner Fuzz pedal that I also bought prices to be the winning formula for that last 16 bars of the lead solo. On a closing note, now I wonder why boutique pedal makers charge SO MUCH MONEY .

Great build quality as always from these Donner mini pedals. I have several and have never been disappointed. The colour and graphics here are a step up from their previous designs, very decent and not as cheap looking as some of the older designs. Nice packaging too, even a couple of stickers thrown in - it's just a small thing but it definitely creates a good impression. Sonically the pedal exceeded my expectations and performs great, responds well to picking dynamics and the filter sounds good. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they haven't used a super-bright blue LED like on so many cheap (and some expensive) pedals. In summary, I'm really happy with it especially at this price point. I wouldn't upgrade this to something more expensive, this does exactly what I wanted it to.

It's a great addition to any board, especially if you like to play funk. I use it on guitar and bass. Combined with fuzz make a nice synth like tone out played with a clean tone gives you a classic 70's quack.

this is a great pedal! sutle but powerful. does exactly as advertised and then some.signal is sharper, crisper, louder,even clearer.it is built great and also looks realy good. has a wiiiiiiiiide range of effect. i keep everything at 12:00 and just enjoy the quality of the tone i get. i now have several donner pedals ,and can see clearly that this is a good company. all of mine are A+ or better! got a new one coming in the box tommorow , and cant hardly wait. anywhoo, if you want hightech , touch sensitive, very quiet(no bad noise whatsoever!) and obedient wah........... this is it. the effect realy does blend rapid notes beautifuly. the wah effect does not overpower. it just kicks in harmonics and adds a flair of wah. at the price i paid i am very happy. its perfect for my style while being very precice and controlable. i am a huge fan of donner now and would tell any 35+year player to give this company a try. 3 pedals later and 1buknchange and ived uped my whole game. thanks donner for providing pro quality effects at budget prices! hurry up.......................get one before there gone.

This thing is just so fun to play with. Instant funk switch with super versatile settings. Definitely put it first in the chain, and for a totally different brand of fun, throw in some distortion after it and a chorus at the end. Nice and quiet too. My only complaint is the tiny knobs kind of suck to adjust, but I'm not sure how else you'd physically be able to fit 4 control pots on a mini pedal, and I prefer a pedal this size to something that takes up more space on the board. Pleasantly surprised by the "budget" offerings from Donner, this pedal in particular.

Opened up the box -first reaction the pedal is small "mini" as they claim.
But it feels pretty solid.
The pedal housing is metal.
Sounds great plugged in to my Peavey Deuce. Variable speeds and percentage of how much wah you want are easily dialed in.

This pedal is a great value - it does everything you would want an auto-wah or envelope follower to do, with plenty of adjustability. Everything from subtle to extreme shaping of the sound is possible. The unit seems to be well-constructed, works great on standard guitar 9V power supplies, and seems to be fairly quiet in operation. I'm quite pleased with it!

This is a good, inexpensive pedal. I hesitate to call it cheap, because it actually seems to be of better quality than I was expecting. The enclosure is metal, not plastic, and the knobs fell ok, even if they are very small. I was looking for an auto wah with a small footprint for my B-board. This fits perfectly and works pretty well. Definitely depends on which guitar I am using with it, and the settings. The real value will become clear if this budget pedal survives for more than a couple of weeks. If it proves to be durable, then it deserves 5 stars.

I recently sold an Electro-harmonix Q-tron that I wasn't using very much and had no intention of replacing it. I stumbled across this and it was cheap enough that I figured it would be worth trying since I had a Donner noise gate pedal that I liked. So far I'm impressed. I'm not sure I'd put this on a pedal board for live performances, but for a home setup it's fun. Other reviewers complain that it wasn't sound like a "wah" pedal, but for me it is a solid replacement for the Q-tron. It can sound dull if you've got it dialed in wrong, but the Q-tron would too. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a cheap auto-wah just to see what it's about. You can always upgrade later.

This pedal is sort of a one trick pony: the auto-wah thing. It has enough adjustments that you should be able to dial in the auto-burp per note. Don't compare it to a wah wah. It probably won't earn a spot on a crowded pedal board but it's cheap enough to have in the studio for the thing it does.

Good versatile pedal. Still working on dialing in the perfect amount of wah...my main issue is with the bottom surface of the pedal. Whatever kin of rubber or surface they used my velcro adhesive for my pedalboard will not stick to the bottom of the pedal, therefore the pedal will not stick to my board.

It does the job. It is a bit difficult to get a subtle wah sound, it changes quickly from very light to very heavy. Not much in between. But for the price it's hard to beat.

Barely takes up any space on your pedal board. This auto-wah (envelope filter, really), does exactly what it supposed to and is a fun little pedal to play with. It did what I needed it to for a specific song I was working on. It’ll never replace a “real” way pedal, but it certainly has its place on your board.

Got this autowah after reading a few reviewes.
Folks, this little number rocks! It outperforms my old Ibanez envelope filter, and has more tonal options. Once I figured out the setting parameters, I was able to get a range of groovy sounds, and especially that "Jerry" pop, a la "Fire on the Mountain"

It is a good pedal if you are looking for an auto-wah, but it is a good idea to do some research first so you know what you are getting. This pedal will need some tweaking to get the sound you are looking for. An auto-wah will give you a different result than a standard Wah pedal, as it will respond more to your pick attack than manually controlled by rocking the pedal. The parameters are all easy to control. The pedal itself is well-built, and is a great value for the price. Definitely recommend if you are thinking about an auto-Wah.
