I paid $80 for it before inflation. Started out ok but now has a wobble. You can still use it but a major headache. Plus screws strip. Very cheaply made for money. Do not waste time or money. Throw in extra $50 for a better throne.

i try to sit at my computer sort of like how a pianist plays at a keyboard, where you use your core to keep your spine upright. i decided to try this, and so far it seems to be working very well! i like how the up/down adjustment is a screw, and not a pneumatic system, so it should last longer.

I had been using a folding chair. I ordered a cheaper one, but luckily, the order got canceled, so I ordered this one instead. I am so glad I did. This one is perfect. I have had many other drum thrones of various name brands but have to say this has been the most comfortable by far. The seat is nice and wide and very cushiony for the backside. Very easy to sit hours for playing.

It legs broke and bent out of shape. The adjustment pole of the throne bent out of shape as well. Piece of crap. I weigh only about 225 lbs and it couldn’t support me. I only used it about once a week.

Had the stool for about 6 months. The first 3 months were fine—life changing in terms of comfort— then it seemed to degrade with its integrity over time until I could no longer stabilize it.
Contacted customer service. The simply asked for proof. I provided proof, they escalated it then provided a resolution.
Supposed to get a replacement in a few days. We agreed it was likely just a defect and took accountability for it.
Satisfied inside and out at this point! So long as the replacement stool doesn’t repeat the same mishap… Superb business practices and products !

I'm very happy with the sturdiness and size of this drum throne. My only complaint is that the upholstery seems a bit flimsy. However, it's easy enough to staple a new cover over it when the time comes. Based on the stability I feel under me, I'll have this seat as long as I want to. If you're looking for a smaller throne, this isn't for you, but if you need more padding or just want a big seat, this is it at this price point. You'll see in my pictures that the frame is stable, the underside is well supported, and the size of the seat over the base. There are far more expensive options, but there's lots of much cheaper stuff out there too. This is better than what I expected and that's a good thing.

He LOVES it. He is 6'1 and has a hard time finding chairs that will fit him well.
The seat is nice and wide and fits him comfortably. It is nicely cushioned so that it is comfortable but not something that bounces around.
He loves the triangle shape because it helps keep him steady.

This is a great, stable, solidly built drum throne. I'm a very large guy, 300 lbs and it supports me, it swivels and I put it together in about 2 minutes. Basic, simple, comfortable and extremely well made. If I ever need to buy another drum throne I will be looking to purchase this again. Just a heads up, this box ships in it's own box so anyone that sees it will absolutely know what is inside so if you're looking to give it as a gift, be careful.

Donner makes extremely sturdy and durable products. Anyone of any size would comfortable using this stool. This stool is highly adjustable. The seat is huge, comfortable and rotates which is a must have. You don't have to be a drummer or even a musician to put this stool to good use.

There is a lot of critism right now about how wobblily these seats are. But if you are a short person like me, (I am 5'5) then the wobbles are minimal. And just about every throne I've read reviews on wobbles to some extent unless you are willing to dish out over 200 dollars. One positive thing I like about this throne is that there are no gas shocks, it's all twist and tighten. The seat has plenty of cushioning but yet it's firm. If you are a short person who is trying to save money, this seat is perfect for you. Again I am 5'5 and barely have the seat raised, so there is more support for me. But for someone with the seat raised all the way, it will be less sturdy.

I got this for Father's day this year (2021) as I needed a throne for my practice kit. It's very comfy and super sturdy. It actually feels just as tough and easy on my keester as my Roc n Soc throne. I would recommend this throne to any drummer out there whether you're a novice, pro, or an old timey rocker dad like me.

Hey! If you're looking for something sturdy and comfy to rest your rump on for hours on end while doing all the work while the rest of the band gets all the credit then this is the throne for you! I'm just learning to drum but I've sat on many stools over the 20 years of playing guitar and this one is great. Pad is plenty big even for a big guy like myself and it feels planted.

Very comfortable. For the price it’s the best saddle-type drum throne you can get. Well built with quality steel. Has a slight rock to it when you screw it through the threads. The large bolt fixes that though.

Rubber feet keep it in place. Although it does not have a velvet top this seat is comfortable. He likes it.

I like the drum throne has a motorcycle style cushion that allows for more coverage compared to the traditional round seat drum throne. As a result, I can sit for longer periods of time during a practice session, and not experience any dis comfort. With a traditional drum throne, the padding tends to harden up and affect the overall comfort of the stool.
