I love the product. Shipping took a little longer than i was expecting and the guitar packaging box was damaged enough the UPS guy made me open it before he left thinking it was broken.
But definitely a great piece of equipment. Thanks guys.

If your looking to take up guitar for the first time you absolutely cannot go wrong with 1 from Donner, or in my case 2 from Donner. I purchased the acoustic directly from Donner and had to purchase the electric from Amazon as Donner did not have the 1 I wanted in stock. I looked at several reviews on YouTube from reputable guitarists and not 1 bad review in the bunch. Great value for the money both guitars came with straps, picks, extra strings, tuner, the electric also included a mini amp (perfect for practicing at home), and it's cable. Great solid built and beautiful guitars. I love the not so average darker color on the acoustic and the not so average white color of the electric. Once I get going on the acoustic I am looking at getting another but with nylon strings as I want the sound you get from an acoustic with nylon strings. 190% recommend these guitars to anyone , especially those of us starting out.

I love the size of the neck. Guitar sounds amazing for its price. I’m going to add some better strings. Very nice rich sound. And beautiful at that.

Very nice guitar, played well right out of the box.

What a great guitar! Nice bright sound and very light guitar. I love the smaller size. Great construction and playbility. Beautiful finish and very cool accessories included! This guitar with everything could easily go for 300 plus! Buy one, you won't regret it whether you are a beginner , pro or just want a camp fire guitar!!!

Watched reviews on youtube regarding this guitar, they were all good. Such an amazing price, too.
My kids have guitar lessons, the teacher asked me for the link where we bought the guitar from. He will be recommending this model for all his new students.

We received the initial order surprisingly quick. However, it was the wrong color. When I contacted the customer service about it, they misunderstood and thought I had ordered the wrong item. I wasn't able to call and talk with anyone because I couldn't find a customer service phone number so everything was over email. I was offered a mere $13 to keep the guitar they incorrectly sent. We declined. They eventually sent us a shipping label to return the incorrect guitar, but only after I reminded them I was waiting for that. I was informed they would send me the correct guitar, but weeks later I still hadn't received it. When I reminded them about it, they told me I needed to send my information. I referred them to my original order and the correct guitar arrived a couple of days later. In all, we got the guitar we wanted and are happy with it. The process of getting the corrected order was ridiculous. I could tell by some of the responses I received that some of the people who responding to me did not understand English well. That may have been part of the issue. It took a month to get everything in order, but we have it now, and are happy with it.

I enjoy my new guitar and look forward to learning how to play. I'm not sure if anyone else had this but my guitar arrived with some cosmetic imperfections

The quality is more than I expected at this price range. At first the strings would not stay tuned but after a few adjustments they stay in tune several days depending on weather. My daughter loves it. Her teacher was very amazed at how full and warm the sound was for a beginner guitar.

Beautiful craftsmanship

The sound is a little off but nice learning guitar. Good size for everyone. We did tune it and helped alot.

My ole man loves it he said it has a buzz to it but still likes it.

Started to learn how to play following online tutorials and didn't want to spend a fortune and this seems so far to fit that bill!

We admittedly had pretty low expectations for this beginner guitar but it sounds really nice and it's structurally sound. The tuning pegs are nice, I appreciate the extras, including the capo and tuner. Looks awesome, too. This is a really great guitar for the price and I highly recommend it for a starting guitar, especially with all the extras it comes with!

I purchased this after I saw it reviewed on YouTube by a busker I follow. I have several Martins, and other acoustic guitars, but this is a little guitar for me. I plan to use it as a travel guitar. At 66, and with some arthritis, it plays very easily. Great tone and playability. Great price with a few extras that come along with it. I had purchased a 3/4 Tayor but gave that to my daughter. This is just as good for the money.

Xmas gift and husband loved it...plays all the time

I purchased the Donner 40 inch acoustic guitar beginner bundle kit for my 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas. It is a very nice smaller guitar, the right size for a young teenager. It came pre-strung, a shoulder strap, picks, and a neat tuner the clamps onto the end of the neck and glows green when each string is in tune. The quality of the workmanship is good, and a good value for the money since it came as a complete starter kit. I would recommend this acoustic guitar beginner bundle to anyone who has a youngster who wants to learn to play the guitar.

I’m fairly new to guitar playing, but I was very impressed with this guitar. It sounds great and the color is beautiful. I absolutely love it. For the price I would highly recommend!

I love this guitar. I used it for church choir. Sounds amazing.

This is truly a fine middle of the road guitar. For the price, you get a very attractive, very playable guitar, plus a good amount if extra goodies. Beginners and intermediate players, you will not be dissapointed

While the packaging was damaged during shipping they offered to remedy any damage. Only the shipping cardboard eas damage. I am very happy with that it included everything needed to begin learning how to play it. Tuner, extra set of strings, capo, pickup, picks case and shoulder strap. A very good bargain for a beginner.

We bought this as a Cyber Monday special, so we received an especially good deal. But even at regular price, there is a lot to commend here. For an entry-level guitar, it has surprisingly full sound and great playability. The accessories are also entry level, but most are quite serviceable (except, perhaps, the gig-bag, which works but leaves a lot to be desired). I have a couple of significantly more expensive guitars that are obviously made of better materials, but nevertheless do not play as well or sound as full as this one. Highly recommended.

I heard good things about this guitar on YouTube but honestly wasn't expecting much. Was mostly just curious to see if an inexpensive laminate guitar like this was even playable. Well, it might not be fancy but it sure is comfortable and fun to play! plus it's green. the strings that came on the guitar felt gummy but fortunately donner included a replacement set of phosphor bronze strings (11s if i'm not mistaken). I also made a minor truss rod adjustment with the included Allen key. i couldn't get the included strap attached to the guitar (the part where the strap attaches to the guitar is double-thick). i think this is a great guitar for a beginner (where i think comfort and playability are just as important as how it sounds) or someone who wants a guitar that's easy to throw in the car and hopefully won't be as susceptible to problems as a solid wood guitar.

I bought the Donner DAJ-110CD acoustic guitar after seeing a review on YouTube. I thought it sounded really good in the video and I had been looking for a basic entry level guitar for a while. I really liked the black faded finish on this one so I ordered it, but I accidentally ordered the green version. I contacted Donner right away but unfortunately it had already shipped. They told me they would replace it with the black version if I refused the original shipment. I did that and they quickly sent me the black version. Their customer service and response time is excellent! I really appreciate them taking care of me. The guitar arrived in perfect condition and it does sound great for the price. My co-workers thought it looked really good too. Thank you Donner!

*Not only did the packaging box arrive with a gash in it. Poor/flimsy cardboard packaging. *There's a major/noticeable scuff mark, that's ight where the pick guard area is! *There was also a large thumb print towards the bottom of the front face (no biggie). * The gig bag is flimsy and is NOT padded, as advertised, plus, it's missing the front pouch zipper lever! * The strings vibrate on some frets, so I'll need to take it in. Beautiful and smooth guitar. So comfy and sounds warm with projection! A bit too dark green; however, in low lighting. In general, I love the sound. Although bittersweet, much bang for the buck! Company was reasonably gracious and helpful to resolve issues.

I have never owned a mini jumbo guitar before but I think I like it more than my other guitars. The size of it fits perfectly in my hands! The sound of the guitar is gorgeous and the accessories that came with it are also super awesome. I love the tuner and it makes it really handy to tune the guitar when I’m on the go. The color of the guitar is beautiful and I am extremely happy with this purchase! One of my new faves!

I was surprised at the sound of this guitar. Not only was it unique from my dreadnaught and grand auditorium style guitars, but was pretty fun and easy to play.
Appearance/look/feel:
Overall I really like the way this guitar looks. I like the black tone on the tuning machines and the bridge pins, strap pegs etc. The finish is a really nice/natural matte finish - not glossy but still smooth. Overall I really like the look a lot.
Quality/condition:
I was surprised at how light this guitar is, especially given it’s size. It was packaged well and didn’t come with any scrapes, scratches or nicks. I don’t think this could take a beating, but at the price point I’d say this is a great campfire/take anywhere guitar. It felt really well set up, and I haven’t noticed any issues with frets, neck, action etc. Given it’s stock from the manufacturer, a professional setup I’m sure couldn’t hurt - but it sounds fantastic as is without it.
Sound:
The tone is kind of new to me, but I also haven’t had a jumbo or mini jumbo guitar before. It has plenty of volume, even when fingerpicking. I really like the really strong highs/treble on this, with just enough bass and mids. This thing was made for strumming though, can really cut through a mix/band I would say. For the price, it’s a fantastic tone, with some better quality strings would sound even better.
NOTE: the strings aren’t great, and are not comfortable to play (even as a 15+ year player). I’m going to swap them out soon with my go-to D’addario strings. I think it may make the tone even better (good as it already is), as I don’t think the stock strings are very good.
Features/Bonus:
I wish this guitar had onboard pickups/electronics, but it’s still really nice. The guitar itself is pretty basic, but sounds great as is. It came with a few generic extras with varying levels of quality/utility:
-Gig bag: decent, not super padded but more than just a cover. Definitely usable.
-Tuner: Didn’t seem to work great. I’ll probably use my phone or Snark.
-Capo: Very nice! Also goes well with the other black accents on the guitar. Aesthetically pleasing.
-Picks: Just fine
-Strap: Surprisingly good, though basic. It’s a fabric of some kind, which is nice compared to the plastic-y kind.
-Spare Strings: Will throw out as I think they’re pretty bad.
-Pickguard (?): Randomly came with this bendy, vinyl stick on pickguard (I think), but cut doesn’t match soundhole and will go in trash. That said, plenty of really nice aftermarket pick guards that could be added.
Big sound, looks and feels great, great bang for buck.

This is an above average starter guitar in my opinion. It has a nice deep rich sound with good crisp but smooth high frequencies. I ordered the black body an it looks very nice. Its a compact guitar and the neck is on the thinner side which I prefer. Tuning pegs hold tune really well. Very playable out of the box. The include many extras like a clip on tuner, strings, pickup and bag. It also came with a string height chart sitting on the guitar fret board. The action on this one is actually pretty good. It could probably be lowered a tad to make it easier to play on the upper frets. Anyway, it does have some adjustability if you want to adjust the action. Experience players should only do this. Overall playability and learning a new instrument ability, this is a really good option. Better than most starter guitar kits. Looks a feel more expensive.

Bought this as it was recommended for a beginner. It really is a thing of beauty and I am in love. I can't play at all so this is a lovely kit to learn with. When in tune it sounds beautiful and that electronic tuner which comes with it is incredible once you work it out.
I held this in my basket and watched the prices fluctuate until I got a good deal. Its worth the extra bit of money if you can afford it. I've sold cheaper guitars on a previous job and can see why this one is better.

Best budget Acoustic Guitar i've worked on. Quality wood Top, Back, Sides, Neck & Fingerboard. Brilliant & bright sound thanks to the Bone Nut & Saddle & the Mahogany & Spruce woods. Frets needed sorting on the ends but not as bad as the other acoustic guitars & that includes Harley Bentons who's fret ends will cut skin - FACT!

To be honest, this is the best guitar I have bought, thank you
