Thought a good while before I ordered this guitar. But, got a great deal thru Donner on Ebay and ordered it. Set it up to Fender specs all except the nut. Didn't want to risk messing it up, so I took it to Action Sound in Hawkins, TX. They finished the set up and the guy that did it said he had seen these guitars on the internet but had never had one in the shop. He was really surprised at the quality and added, it was a very good guitar. I love the set up and playability. Sounds good enough for me thru a Peavey Rage 158 amp. Glad I made the purchase. Now, a few pedals. Good job Donner!!!

I PURCHASED THIS GUITAR TO EXPERIENCE THE COIL SPLIT, AND WAS MOST IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE GUITAR. AT THIS PRICE POINT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MODEL TO EVERYONE! WELL WORTH THE MONEY! THE COIL SPLIT IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE - GET ONE!!!

Still working with this guitar. It might need some intonation work but for the price and what I saw on YouTube I thought I was going to get more stuff. I was a bit disappointed with that end of it

I bought this guitar to see what all the hoopla was about. I have seen mostly good reviews and it looks decent enough. I read about it and I like the features it has and you can’t beat the price. I received the guitar pretty quick, so no complaints on shipping. Everything was on point with packaging. Had some 9’s on it, k I’mm sure I could have just tuned it and played it but I like to set it up to the way I like em. Threw some 8’s on it, polished out frets (not necessary) set the string height and away I went. Guitar plays and sound terrific. Unbelievable quality for less than $200. I plan to get the pink 200 and the 400. Would like to see 400 in a different color. Unless Donner wants to provide me with one for free!

I bought this guitar for my daughter's birthday in a couple of weeks. She hasn't opened it yet, however, I can say that I am happy with the purchase. The guitar came well packed and protected, and it has a very nice feel and sound to it. It's a great beginner guitar!

Great guitar, I absolutely love it. I couldn't afford a Les Paul but this is as close as you will get without spending the extra money. The action is low which makes it a joy to play and has good quality pick ups.

Nice looking beginner’s guitar
Well made solid body electric guitar. Fret ends do need to be sanded down, and new strings out on. Includes nicely padded travel bag which has a rubberized foot on the end -nice touch. Also the guitar is not too heavy-just heavy enough

I’m not a guitar specialist, but this guitar was perfect for my journey learning to pick the strings. I had previously purchased an acoustic, but it is a bit bulky and the metal strings were tough in the fingers. The slim nylon strings on this electric model are a nice touch for a beginner...and you can play/practice as quiet or loud as you want. Only drawback is the strap, as it’s thick and not very comfortable, but easily replaced.

A very nice guitar for the money, the construction quality is 100% as good as it's very much more expensive cousin. Great pickups which sound great. The only gig I can find is the tremolo which is a bit stiff. Perhaps with use it will have a little more give, or maybe removing one of the springs may help. Overall a great guitar.

Honestly, I returned a $400 Squire Stratacaster because it played so bad. Other then poor fret work, everything on this guitar is better then other Stratacaster style guitars costing much more, while giving you less. This is my second Donner guitar and I absolutely Love them both. I now own eight guitars, some worth over $500, yet I Enjoy playing my Donner guitars more. The coil tap for the humbucker PU is a nice piece tech and this guitar's tones sound amazing, with no dead notes on any fret and each fret rang out true.

One important feature not mentioned are the frets, they are smaller than the jumbo frets. So if this is going important to you consider it but it doesn’t make a big difference. Also if you’re modding with after market parts there are some differences, like the pickguard…the holes don’t line up exactly and it’s a snug fit around the tremolo. Over all it’s a great guitar and surpasses a Squire Bullet.

I bought the DST 200 the Pink color and have to say that I am totally impressed with the quality of this guitar for $$$! It came very well packed and delivery was fast! Fretwork is great and Intonation was spot on! Totally impressed!

The main thing here is that this guitar is super hard to beat for the price. The 2 humbuckers sound good, and the overall finish is much better than I expected. Electronics are clear and work great, and the guitar is very playable with very minimal setup.
I like the fact that they have made sure to improve in small things like the headstock being slightly narrow and the break angle being less than a normal gibson. This gives this guitar a better chance of staying in tune even than a standard gibson guitar.
The fact that this guitar comes with a couple of extras, the gig bag and the cable, is just fantastic. The gig bag, while thin and not super protective, is great for hauling the guitar around and again is better quality that I would have imagined for the price.
All in all, super happy with the purchase, really enjoying playing this guitar. I would recommend.

Only really played acoustic so this was the perfect next step. No experience on how it should sound next to more expensive ones but really like this guitar. It comes with a better cable than my rubber ones a nice guitar strap and a really good padded bag, it's not just a guitar cover it has some protection. Set up was easy, tuned it in and played. I have a small Donner amp also and switched between clean and distortion and it sounds great. Well done Donner.

I keep saying no more guitars but then I spotted this and I am very happy I got one but tbh I had preferred it in another colour but this sunburnt skin is totally fine. The guitar is excellent. Its way over par for the pricetag I would say. I recommend this warmly to anyone starting out. Its cheap and very good value for money. I would say that stupidly expensive guitars are just like overkill, for anyone .. Its basically like selling uhd videos that no one can see on their ordinary monitors.. This seriously is a serious piece of kit you will go long with this guitar. Just buy it, the only thing I personally regret is not getting it a lot earlier!

I have a respectable guitar collection. I have instruments worth thousands of dollars, and instruments worth barely a couple of hundred. I know what I like in an electric guitar. I want it to have a thin neck, a low action, and it needs to stay in tune. This guitar, first and foremost, is beautiful. Many friends have believed me when I tell them it was $1000, and are shocked when I tell them the real price. The finish is flawless. It is a high gloss black and the hardware shines beautifully. It is simple, classic and appealing to the eye. The action is perfect and makes playing chords or solos a breeze. The neck is smooth and a great diameter for moving quickly up and down the frets. The frets ends are smooth. The tuners work perfectly and this guitar stays in tune for days. I put high quality strings on it and play it through a nice amp, and man does this thing scream. I am very happy with this instrument and feel as though if I paid twice the amount, I would still be impressed. Donner is doing good things and this is just the latest example of how they're bringing quality in equipment for a bargain price. I would absolutely recommend this guitar to any beginner looking to learn, but this will please even a picky pro. I love it!
